The Most Powerful Question You Can Ask

Enrich your conversations and give your relationships opportunity to grow organically, by simply asking: How can I support you?

This is a question I ask at the end of every, single coaching session. I ask it in my marriage. I ask it in my friendships.

“How can I support you?”

This question empowers the person you are speaking with to create their own solutions. In doing so, we are not “fixing” them or their situation and unintentionally stealing their power or opportunity for growth.

It gives you clarity about your role and how you are needed so as not to overstep your boundaries.

Try it out this week and observe how it enriches your conversations.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
