Although it may seem that the result is the same, in the long run, one repair does not imply the same risks and results as another. Official repairs are those carried out by the technical service of the brand of our appliance. It can also be a technical service that is not typical of the brand but that is authorized by it to repair its devices. Unofficial repairs can be done by anyone, regardless of the brand. It can be a non-affiliated service, workshop, repair shop, or we can even do it ourselves.
These unofficial repairs may not only fail to solve the problem for us, they may also cause others. Technicians often find broken cables, irretrievably damaged motherboards, and broken parts, misplaced or even missing screws. In addition, we are not exempt from being bullied and repairing us with non-original components. As a consequence, in the end an unofficial repair ends up being more expensive, even if at first we think that we are saving money in this way.
