…patients in the U.S. are commoditized. Harsh though that may sound, it explains why health is not the actual driver of the industry but monetization of disease is. How, therefore can profiting off disease translate into a highly ranking health care system?

Ihad the pleasure to interview NATALIA ROSE CN, Author & Founder, The Natalia Rose Institute. Natalia Rose, CN, is a graduate of New York University and a Clinical Nutritionist. Natalia is the author of nine books including The Raw Food Detox Diet, Raw Food Life Force Energy, The New Energy Body, Detox 4 Women, Emotional Eating S.O.S., The Rose Cleanse, Recipes For Life Force Energy Children, Forever Beautiful and The Fresh Energy Cookbook.

After nearly 20 years in private practice in New York City, Natalia moved to Cape Town, South Africa where she continues to educate and inspire her clients and students through her books and live courses about the unparalleled health, beauty and personal power that can be gained when the body, mind, and spirit are cleansed.

Natalia is the world’s leading expert in deep-tissue cleansing, which is the removal of accumulated acidic matter locked deep in cells and tissues of the body). The physical cleansing, however, she believes, is merely the requisite foundation and framework from which one may come to fully embody one’s innate “Primal Power” (the supreme causal power of the universe). Together, the cleansed body, mind and spirit with the restored Primal Power, offer her clients the opportunity to experience life in a fully sovereign being, pulsing with pure Life Force!

In addition to consulting for some of the world’s most

image-conscious actors, models, socialites, and media doyens, Natalia has been featured on NBC, FOX News, MSNBC, The View, NPR and in publications such as The New York Times, USA TODAY, Women’s World, First For Women, The Enquirer, Yoga Journal, Hamptons Magazine, Psychology Today, and more.

Natalia teaches that each individual is a pivot point from which disease, fear, and competition can be transfigured into vibrant health, powerful love and radical interconnectivity with the network of life. The Natalia Rose Institute (detoxtheworld.com) was created to provide detailed guidance for anyone who is interested in this journey at any level of knowledge or stage of life. A great deal of the website contains free guidance so as to never make this critical information price prohibitive.

Natalia lives in Cape Town, South Africa with her three highly-vitalized children: Thandi, 18, Tommy, 16, and Electra, 7 years old.

Thank you so much for doing this with us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
I would say it’s more of a simple truth that shaped my career path. This simple truth was deep suffering — my deep personal suffering and the deep suffering of those I was destined to help. You see, we move in a world that is great on presenting confident appearances, but behind those appearances are people who are living out of sync with life. When we live out of sync with life, our living systems fall apart, and we can only mask that and try to avoid that reality for so long. My story and the story of those who would find me was the story of the pain of unraveling physically, emotionally, energetically, mentally and spiritually and then having the great-good-fortune of rectifying it all through realigning with Universal and Natural Law. In essence, the cultural paradigm we are given to live by is unsuitable for the human body, mind, and spirit. On paper, and by way of external presentation, our lives can appear perfect while behind closed doors, the reality for most people is that they carry deep, suppressed traumas which cloud their mind and heart, drive them to addictive behaviors and block their life force in countless ways. When I healed myself through the principles I have been teaching over the last 20 years, I knew without a doubt that I had to serve a world in need with these same tools. Ameliorating the suffering caused by living out of harmony with the Laws of Life has been my life’s purpose ever since.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you began leading your company?
What has most fascinated me since establishing my healing practice 20 years ago is the story of humanity — the degree to which we humans have strayed from Nature and yet do not realize that this is the cause of the mounting symptoms and diseases. The enormous disconnect between what people think is normal and what actually is natural is the only reason we are sick today. The epic conclusion, I hope is a total awakening to this fact, followed immediately by a full-scale rejection of the error and a reunion with the ways of the Life Force!

Can you tell our readers a bit about why you are an authority in the healthcare field?
I am an authority in cleansing the body. Some people call it detoxification. Either term fits. I am both keeper and executor of the most practical knowledge and applications for removing that which blocks and impairs the cells and tissues of the body but also of the mental, emotional, energetic and spiritual fields. What is true for one of the fields is true for all of them. As above; so below. Knowing the mechanics and nuances of each and all fields makes me great at this work.

What makes your company stand out? Can you share a story?
The Natalia Rose Institute is known for its premier cleansing education. I have been teaching courses to empower individuals to become masters of their own cleansing, of their own restoration to vibrant health on all levels. While I will always happily take an individual on as a private client if they request it, I prefer to create the educational platforms for them to learn what is universal to all and learn how to apply it specifically to themselves. I am not interested in having lots of clients; I am interested in creating masters!

Can you share with our readers about the innovations that you are bringing to and/or see in the healthcare industry? How do you envision that this might disrupt the status quo? Which “pain point” is this trying to address?
I created a personal, portable colon irrigation device called the “Enlightener.” I say it is the invention of the Millenium because it enables the user to remove a lifetimes worth of waste matter from their own body in their own time. I believe that the accumulated waste residue from decades of unfit consumption is at the core of all health imbalances. Therefore, by removing the accumulated waste matter, one’s biological terrain may be given the conditions to regenerate. I believe my invention addresses all health care “pain points” by placing their wellness in their own hands, eliminating the need for poorly circulated information, communication, and time wastage. Rather than trying to address modern healthcare’s operations, I lean toward empowering the individual’s ability to self-heal and become emancipated from the pervasive chaos of the healthcare industry. Indeed, this does disrupt the status quo utterly.

Are you working on any exciting new projects now? How do you think that will help people?
Yes, I am creating new courses that restore my students’ vast inherent Life Force to them. My new courses are groundbreaking. When followed in tandem with the sound principles of cleansing and detoxification and with the Enlightener, their lives become completely reframed with abundance health and confidence in the Life Force working through them.

What are your “5 Things I Wish Someone Told Me Before I Started” and why? (Please share a story or example for each.)
1. That working so closely with people and bringing them to health would give me a daily opportunity to be of service and live a life of purpose. If I’d known this in grade school, I would have had a much clearer map for my education and career goals early on!
2. To be confident in my knowledge without wavering. I had a doctor argue with me once about blood pH; he insisted that homeostasis was pH 7.0 rather than pH7.4. It was the very early days of my practice, and I reacted by deferring to him and his knowledge base and questioned myself. To his credit, he came right back to me a few minutes later, apologizing for being wrong and telling me that I was indeed correct about the blood alkalinity pH.

Let’s jump to the main focus of our interview. According to this study cited by Newsweek, the U.S. healthcare system is ranked as the worst among high-income nations. This seems shocking. Can you share with us 3–5 reasons why you think the U.S. is ranked so poorly?
To be fully candid, I think it is because patients in the U.S. are commoditized. Harsh though that may sound, it explains why health is not the actual driver of the industry, but monetization of disease is. How, therefore, can profiting off condition translates into a high ranked health care system?

What are your favorite books, podcasts, or resources that inspire you to be a better healthcare leader? Can you explain why you like them?
I think understanding history and human nature is essential to understanding health. My top books for everyone who wants to be a better health care leader are as follows: Colombus & Other Cannibals by Jack Forbes, Ishmael by Daniel Quinn and A Language Older Than Words by Derrick Jensen. These are foundational. I’d also add all the Rudolf Steiner writings and lectures by Manly P. Hall.
