Recently, I blogged about my new diagnosis of type two diabetes as a result of a demanding lifestyle including a lack of exercise, sitting in the car for extended periods, stressful schedules, isolation and my poor relationship with sugar. Embarrassed by such a diagnosis, as the founder of Less Cancer, I am feeling much like the cobbler whose children had no shoes.

Join the conversation with friend, health coach, foodie and life enthusiast Holli Thompson and myself in part one of reversing diabetes.

Since the news of diabetes, the weight is coming off I have started running, playing tennis and sticking to a plant-based diet. #reversingdiabetes

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
