Letter to the Readers
Dear Readers,
Yes, you! I am so excited to be here right now and to share the amazing ideas and wisdom of our modern day Einstein’s and Da Vinci’s.
Growing up, I was surrounded by heroes. I devoured books on Marie Curie; who discovered radiation, jotted down words of wisdom from Florence Nightingale; who revolutionized the nursing industry, and adored the teachings of Sigmund Freud; the father of Psychology.
Throughout my career in various industries, I’ve met modern-day innovators and pioneers. From the physicians creating 3D printed hearts to the entrepreneurs revolutionizing data for better decisions, to the patient advocates bravely fighting for a voice and a new way.
In this book, I interview visionaries from all walks of life and explore their big ideas, how they will change our world, and what they’ve learned along the way. But most importantly, what we can learn from them.
And this is where I invite you to join us on this journey. Read this book, learn from the inventors themselves. Reach out to us. Be inspired, be brave.
The pioneers have peeled back the walls, and give us a snapshot of what could be, what will be. Through them, we are shaping the future.
For as John F. Kennedy famously asks, “If not us, who? (And) if not now, when?”
So let us go forth, and disrupt!
