Just by the fact that you’re reading this I know you’re you’re probably like me…

By that I mean you probably want to set yourself apart in life. So, for that reason, I think you’ll appreciate this.

Lately I’ve been very focused on “my morning routine”.

I just posted the final module for my 6-week online bootcamp I launched this year. In that module there’s an exercise on time management. One of the key take-aways is that you need to both understand and control how you spend your time across three segments of your day (Before 8AM, Between 8AM-8PM, After 8PM).

Over the last couple years I’ve gained so many valuable lessons, but few will beat the “power of our mornings”…

Although I consider myself to be one of the most driven, motivated souls on this planet, through my own experiences as an solopreneur I’ve learned it can be so hard to keep yourself on a schedule. Especially when there’s no one to you accountable for it…

To start becoming more productive human being, you just need to get up early. And by early I mean 4AM-5AM early…

With few exceptions, the most successful people in the world are up before everyone else. But I used to think they were up to “hustle harder”. And I’m not about that “grind yourself into the ground” life anymore. It’s exhausting. So, naturally, I resisted at first…

But as soon as I started to realize I just wasn’t as “driven”, or “focused” or at “peace” as I once was, I decided something needed to change.

I tried sleeping in, eating better, working out harder, working out more often, going to the same coffee shop on a consistent basis, getting a planner, scheduling more meetings in the afternoon, quiet time to start my day, lists, paid training, you name it…

Nothing is better than waking up early. But here’s why…

As soon as I started getting up earlier I quickly realized that it’s not about “hustling harder”. It’s about “getting more peace of mind”, for clarity.

There’s a myth that exists in our culture, and it goes like this: You need to work harder if you want to succeed.

Well, you get paid for value, not time. And only those who can’t add enough value will have to make up for it in time. So your job is to learn how you can add the most value. And that means you need time to learn, think, reflect and direct.

Clarity > Hustle

Remember that. Your success (and happiness) depends on it.
