Stressful Moments When You Should Turn To Affirmations

Stress is something all of us have to handle at one point or another in life. Life is like a piano; the white keys represent happiness then the black keys represent sadness.

To make beautiful music you need notes from both the white and black keys. In the same way our lives are also made up happy and stressful events to keep things in balance; trying times help you grow and appreciate your experiences in greater detail. Still, it’s these moments that it can be the hardest to prioritize self-care.

If you find yourself too stressed out, affirmations can help you greatly in stressed out situations. Here’s a list of some of the five most common stressful moments  that we encounter in our everyday life and corresponding I am affirmations that will help you soothe yourself, even if only slightly, a little goes a long way.

Death Of A Loved One

The death of a loved one is one of the most stressful things that can happen in one’s life. Whether it’s a friend or family member, it can be quite unsettling and life changing. During such a stressful period in your life it can help to recite the following affirmation.

Divorce

Divorces are not something easy to deal with at any point in life. It suddenly feels like half of your world has been ripped apart from you. Aside from that, a lot of unwanted negative feelings like anger, hate, bitterness and betrayal also comes into play a lot that prevents you from thinking straight.

Major Injury or Illness

Personal injuries and illnesses can cause a lot of stress, especially if it keeps you away from doing the regular things you do in life. If you’re stressed out due to long term injuries and illnesses, affirmations can help keep things in focus.

When you’re in pain – “I am patient, and I am expecting my recovery.”

Pregnancy

Having a baby is one of the biggest miracle in a woman’s life. It’s a joyful occasion that also comes with a lot of stress. After all, just giving birth to a baby is not the end of the story, many woman worry if they’re capable of being a good mother. There seems to be no right way to parent

Marriage is one big adventure; there’s a lot to look forward to, but the whole shebang also puts women under a lot of stress.
