Morning Music

“It’s Sunday morning … I get up with the sunrise, that’s how I love to start my Sunday or any holiday, rising up with the sun (I set my alarm accordingly).

After getting fresh – taking a thorough bath in cold water in summer Or, in warm water in winter – I take my favourite beverage-n-breakfast, and then wearing my exercise-attire, I go to our big elliptical sound-proof room; I turn on the laptop and woofer speakers and play a selected set of music from my pen drive–sometimes instrumentals, sometimes songs- at an adjusted sound-level, …and then, set myself free to the tunes of the woofer speakers– allowing my body to move to the rhythm of the music; in all crazy, wild, gentle, mild or maverick-manners; as freely as my body loves to sway, spin, whirl or twirl to the beats of the beautiful sound; to my friends and family, I refer to this activity as “dancing” …

For me, this is releasing all those extra, unnecessary, meaningless, fruitless, sickening, toxic emotions (that pile up over weeks, from my interaction with the real or wi-fi world) into the flowing, spinning, vibrating and dancing air around me…..for me, this activity, this “dancing” is shaking off the wrath and negativity from my finite daily self into the infinite ocean of emotions that we all are immersed in…’Dancing’, for me, is an amazing rinsing process… Well, in the process, I absorb fresh vibes as well…

After about an hour of nonstop ‘dancing’, when I come out of our elliptical room, sweat drips from my hair, face…from all over my body …well, actually I get completely drenched in sweat …As I step onto the grass outside, I close my eyes for a moment, spread my hands like a bird spreads its’ wings while on glide…
I take a deep breath filling my lungs…the air outside feels so fresh, so much smokeless and clean…

I look up at the sky through the swaying coconut leaves… the sun shining softly yet brightly…as if, smiling at our earth..I wish myself and the sky a great Sunday” ~ Being Spiritual

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
