I had the pleasure of interviewing Oracle Laura who is a Psychic Medium, Healer, Psychic Detective, Business Consultant, Life Coach & celebrity from TV & Radio. She has starred on numerous TV and radio shows, including Travel Channel’s Expedition Unknown, Sportsnet, CKNW, UBC Radio, BCIT Radio, various TV news and more. She is known for her limitless abilities and very accurate predictions. Those include Donald Trump becoming USA President and most of his conflicts as president, Justin Trudeau being Canada’s new Prime Minister, the conflict between Trump & Trudeau, many of the terrorist attacks, both Hawaii and Bali’s volcano eruptions, the Humboldt Broncos bus crash, Thailand soccer team trapped in flooded cave, Toronto winning Grey Cup, Japan’s earthquake and worst weather disasters, Michael Jackson’s father’s death, and deaths of numerous other famous people.

Thank you so much for joining us! What is your “backstory”?

I was born into a family of psychics and mediums (on both sides of my family) so I was informed from a very young age of my destiny to be a famous psychic, teacher, and author on TV and radio, and travelling the world to be on stage. It’s been very exciting so far. In just the past 4 years I’ve been offered my own TV series from over 30 TV producers (Los Angeles, Toronto and Vancouver) so that is my next step into the spotlight to reach the mass population.

Can you share the funniest or most interesting story that occurred to you in the course of your acting career?

I was giving psychic readings at a gastown studio on April 27, 2014 and about to close up shop for the night because I had been invited to attend the film wrap-up party of Season 9 of the TV series “Supernatural”. As I was closing, a woman approached me at the shop and asked for a reading last minute, so I gave her the reading. At the end she said she had to leave soon because she was attending a film wrap-up party for her husband who was a cinematographer on a TV series. I found that a nice coincidence and told her that I was heading to a similar party myself. When I told her which one she exclaimed it was her the one that her husband was having. We were both shocked and laughed! The woman said, “I’m going to tell my husband about this reading! He has to meet you! I’ll tell him you’re coming to his party! Be sure to meet him when you’re there!” When I did arrive at the party, my date (one of the film crew), took me around the club to meet over 100 of the film crew. When I finally met that cinematographer he said excitedly, “I’ve been waiting to meet you! My wife told me about the great reading you gave her and I want to help you get your own TV series!” He asked me for my card.

What are some of the most interesting or exciting projects you are working on now?

I’m waiting for my scene on “Expedition Unknown” to air on TV and to then be given my own TV series.

Who are some of the most interesting people you have interacted with? What was that like? Do you have any stories?

I met TV Host Josh Gates when he was filming me for Season 4, Episode 9 of “Expedition Unknown”; Secrets of Brother XII”. Off set he was very nice and incredibly wise. Magically, an animal had followed the film crew onto this set from the previous episode they filmed in another country and showed up in the scene during filming. James Dashner started following me on social media then contacted me. We talked about the movie premiere of his latest book which he was to be attending in LA. I’ve also been socializing with singer Aaron Carter, comedian Carol Burnett, and another of my followers, actor Daniel Newman from “The Walking Dead”, to name just a few. To be more shocking I must confess many of my Spirit Guides are famous dead rockstars and actors who first contacted me in spirit to tell me of their upcoming death and they still talk to me today in spirit from the afterlife. Some of them are my most accurate Spirit Guides. The good news? To prove my accuracy, yes I did post these spirit messages from them BEFORE they died, hence why I have the following & fanbase that I do.

What are your “5 things I wish someone told me when I first started” and why. Please share a story or example for each.

1. Start on your path NOW and stay on that path.
 2. Live where the action is (Hollywood California, New York, Toronto, Vancouver BC, London UK, etc).
 3. The internet and social media is where it’s at. Get on it!
 4. Many people will not follow through on their promises. Do not settle and keep your integrity. Those who respect and appreciate your talents will eventually find you and see your worth.
 5. Believe in psychics. Some are frauds, but not all. Many are real and will be accurate in the end.

Can you please give us your favorite “Life Lesson Quote” and how that was relevant to you in your life?

“The greater you become the more your fans & haters increase. As long as you have more praising fans than jealous haters you’ll do fine. Surround yourself with those who lift you UP, not those who put you DOWN.” — Oracle Laura

This quote of mine is relevant to me because I had been an abused child at home, bullied at school by jealous girls, and later bullied by insecure controlling boyfriends. It taught me a lot about narcissism and has helped me greatly with my own life and building my confidence. It has also enabled me to help others because I can personally relate to their situations.

Who do you consider to be your role model for the way in which you have molded your career? What can you share about that person?

John Ritter and Carol Burnett (who admired Lucille Ball) are two of my role models. As I struggled with being abused they made me laugh and taught me how creative acting and comedy can be. It made me want to make people smile, laugh and feel good just as they did. I also admired Princess Diana and Mother Teresa for their great compassion.

Where were you in your career 5 years ago? What do you believe has changed in that time frame (personal, with the world, and/or with your profession)?

At age twelve, I was discovered at our school fashion show so I started out as a model. Having also been drawn to designing clothing I next turned to clothing design when I reached adulthood, but continued modelling as well. In 1999 I eventually went online to sell my designs, but since I modelled my own designs I then became a famous internet model. This led me to write my first book (I’ve now published 3 books so far). My writings included more psychology, philosophy and life coaching so naturally this put me on my path to giving psychic readings. This enabled me to be discovered by TV producers. Adam Savage of “MythBusters” was first to contact me after he saw my videos on YouTube.

We always hear about the best advice we have been given. Tell our readers the worst advice you ever received.

I’ve turned down the casting couch every single time (yes many times). Stand your ground and keep your integrity. Those who respect you, see the bigger picture, and know your worth will get you to your goals without asking you to sell your body and soul.

What are you currently reading that might be something I should try to read as well? Why?

My Dream Books. I read them every day to know what is going to be tomorrow’s headline news. I also recommend Wayne Dyer’s books.

When you have the time, what do you binge watch?

Forensic Files, The FBI Files, Psychic Detectives, Criminal Minds, Supernatural, Medium, Ghost Whisperer, Sex and the City, and Seinfeld.

Where have you travelled that has given you inspiration personally or professionally?

Hawaii. I find the tropics breathtakingly beautiful. I had always wanted to retire there (although I’d never retire), but it’s no longer the best place for me to reside. When producers put me on my World Tour, as they say they want to, I look forward to being inspired by all of USA, Europe and Asia.

What would you say we need to know as a society to “move forward”?

World Peace cannot exist until the entire world wants peace. Also, the global warming we were warned about is happening NOW.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story about that?

In 1986 I had been struggling financially so I prayed for a job that was preferably in modelling. The next day I went in a pub to use the washroom. On leaving, a woman stopped me and said I was exactly what a friend of hers was looking for. Excited, she dragged me over to the phone, called her friend and had me talk to him. He was an artist seeking a model and he invited me to his home. When I arrived, he agreed I was exactly what he needed. I was to pose for a life-size statue of the Virgin Mary which was to be used in a Vancouver parade for Sicilians. After it was used in the parade, it would be shipped to Italy to remain in a Catholic church. I posed for many hours at a time. On the second day we heard a knock on his door so we took a break to see who the guest was. It was a very famous musician who the artist shared was a good friend of his. I recognized him. He was Doug Bennett from “Doug and the Slugs”! They invited me to join them in the living room by the fire. Doug was very sad & depressed so he came to see his artist friend for advice. As they talked I stayed silent, but saw a glowing white light of Angels around him and decided to tell him. He started to cry tears of joy and said with relief, “You have no idea how much that means to me!” When he left we returned to the statue work. Years later Doug Bennett died of a serious disease. Meeting him showed me that I could make people feel better. I had found my true calling.

What is the best way our readers can follow you on social media?

Google has over 1,770,000 search results on my brand name, but I can also be found on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Stage32, Yelp, Amazon (where my book “Oracle Exposed” can be found), my website, and soon on IMDb.
