We all need a sense of purpose and to belong. Having had the good fortune to work globally, I’ve learned that no matter where I am in the world, these are the universal threads that connect us.

As we at Sprinklr come together to honor Pride Month, we’ve chosen to give back and make a difference beyond ourselves. Worldwide, we’re joining forces for the good of others with all proceeds raised from various events donated to OutRight Action International, a LGBTIQ rights advocacy group.

I’m excited that each Sprinklr location also is celebrating Pride Month in its own local and meaningful way. (Check out the Pride 2019 blog.) Pride Month, held annually in June, commemorates the 1969 Stonewall riots in which LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer) trailblazers stood up against exploitation at the Stonewall Inn in New York’s Greenwich Village.

We Strive to Create a “No-Judgment Zone Culture”

These strong words from our founder and CEO Ragy Thomas truly reflect Sprinklr’s culture of belonging. All-inclusiveness is simply part of who we are — The Sprinklr Way, our way of working, living, and being. We treat everyone like family with the utmost respect and care, and it’s crucial to our company’s mission and to the legacy we continually strive to achieve–to enable everyone to be happier.

Pride is Love and Joy Among All of Us

The Sprinklr culture of caring was front and center as year-round Spirit Champion Tony Vargas, Sprinklr’s North American Facilities Manager, introduced our Pride Month initiatives at the recent company-wide Town Hall meeting:

“Because of cultural, geographic, religious, and personal differences, challenges and ways of expressing pride, love and acceptance, we invite you to celebrate in a way that makes the most sense to you, whether out loud with shirts and badges or quietly in your heart.”

What a powerful way to truly embrace everyone in the Sprinklr family — employees, customers, friends, strangers — and beyond.

To Make Our Employees and Customers Happier, We’re Making the World Happier

Sprinklr’s Pride Month celebrations range from #SprinklrPride-themed meals and happy hours with rainbow cocktails and goodies at locations worldwide to a speaker on unconscious bias from Stonewall London in the United Kingdom, sporting Pride pins and tank tops around the globe, #SprinklrPride-themed bake sales, and more.

Also, for every photo posted with #SprinklrPride, Sprinklr will donate $1 (USD) to OutRight. Our target is for every Sprinklr location to participate.

Making a Difference Matters to Everyone

Beyond Sprinklr, social responsibility and caring is essential in today’s workplace. More than 6 out of 10 younger workers won’t even consider taking a job if a company doesn’t have strong corporate social responsibility. Nearly 9 out of 10 say their job is more fulfilling if given the opportunity to make a positive difference on social and environmental issues, according to a Cone Communications survey.

I’d like to share more words from Tony: “We want everyone at Sprinklr to have the opportunity to celebrate the culture of belonging that we are committed to amplifying. No matter where you are from, what you believe, who you love, and who you are, you belong at Sprinklr, without being judged. To that end, we infuse our culture with the energy to make sure we all belong.”
