In the fourty -eight years that I have been teaching martial arts nothing is more important than a persons self image.some of present and past students that have come to me either harassed at work or bullied as a child.Unfortunately, this trauma carries into adulthood and effects a persons self-image.This in turn reflects on the quality of their life.In teaching martial arts and meditation,it is still very important to instill in a student a sense of self-confidence through martial arts traditions  for almost the sole purpose of building up a strong self image to help counter and remove any negativity of past events and trauma. the results have proven seeing this as a teacher through the years that by changing the way a person thinks reflects on an evolving mindset towards greater self-respect and happiness in their lives.May your lifes journey reflect your own happiness and success.all the best-Soke Joe Droual .
