I created a nonprofit organization called “Walk Away the Violence” I created a fashion show that has helped the victims of domestic violence and abuse, I had a day that inspired them, made them feel beautiful and to gain their confidence back. I also just made a song called “Wash Your Hands” This song is a health awareness song, that is used to raise health awareness to help keep us healthy and safe with the spread of the Coronavirus. This song teaches the world to wash their hands, use their hand sanitizer, be careful with the spread of the virus, don’t take risk, postpone travel, try to stay away from airports and wear your face mask when needed. This song I made was to save the lives of many and to keep the environment safe.

As a part of our series about Stars Making a Social Impact, I had the distinct pleasure of interviewing Tiffany Stiger AKA Hott Kitty Kat, a Hip Hop artist, model and actress in the Los Angeles area. She just recently did a song called “Wash Your Hands” that is going viral and raising awareness throughout the community. The song inspires people to stay positive within the outbreak of the Corona Virus and how to take safety measures within this process and to keep your hands clean and sanitized.

Thank you so much for doing this with us! It is a great honor. Our readers would love to learn more about your personal background. Can you tell us the story of how you grew up?

Igrew up in Los Angeles, CA and have traveled to the east coast periodically back and forth. I have two siblings, my parents encouraged education and were good parents that taught me good morals and respect, so I try to be fair with others. I grew up in a city environment, I started acting when I was a teenager landing roles in series like 7th Heaven, Boston Public, Bio Channel, I was on MTV and now I have an episode on VH1. I was a nerd and always studying and doing my homework growing up and always was on the honor roll. I had an almost perfect GPA. I went to college right out of high school as well. Then I tried to balance getting my education with wanting to pursue my dream.

What or who inspired you to pursue your career? Can you share the story with us?

I was inspired when I was growing up to pursue my music career by Jay-Z and Foxy Brown and Lil Kim, as an actress Angelina Jolie was my girl I loved her and she inspired me to be this bad ass actress because I felt like that was my swag. Plus, she’s beautiful. I used to love hearing different hip hop artist’s music growing up and I was always really smart and felt like that was my calling.

Can you share the funniest or most interesting mistake that occurred to you in the course of your career? What lesson or take away did you learn from that?

Well a funny story that I can share is I went to NYC to meet an investor to pursue my career and I had a facebook friend for over 4 years that stole my investor and did not include me in the project nor did he keep his word on loyalty and I did not get one penny from it. I learned to be careful about who you trust and keep in your circle and if they have your best interest or their own.

In my work, I focus on how one can thrive in three areas, body, mind, and heart. I’d like to flesh this out with you. You are a very busy leader with a demanding schedule. Can you share with our readers any self care routines, practices or treatments that you do to help your body, mind or heart to thrive? Kindly share a story or an example for each.

What works for me is I meditate to try to keep a peaceful and positive mindset and to keep a good balance. I also write myself notes and reminders to try to balance my personal and business life so that I don’t do one more than the other. I take quiet spots in my home to try to get peace and have time to myself at times.

I also exercise and have my exercise equipment setup so I can also do my exercising, yoga and keep healthy.

Besides that, I take a few supplements to try to keep a good immune system such as vitamin c, moreinga, and just ordered wheat grass as well and a daily vitamin. I drink Alkaline water as well.

Ok super. Let’s now move to the main part of our discussion. How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world? Can you share with us the meaningful or exciting causes you are working on right now?

Can you share with us the story behind why you chose to take up this particular cause?

I choose to take up this particular case because I love to help others. I am a very passionate person when it comes to helping others and having good ethics and morals and doing the right thing.

Can you share with us a story about a person who was impacted by your cause?

I have people that have emailed me and told me that they were so happy of what I’m doing and that I am changing lives and that im doing a good job and not to give up on my dreams.

What are your 5 things I wish someone told me when I first started” and why. Please share a story or example for each.

I wish someone would’ve told me to be aware there are people out there that pretend like they are helping you but they speak loyalty and they are the first to betray you.

2nd I wish someone told me to watch out for distributors that they may rip you off money if you are not careful and to read articles and research them asap.

3rd. I wish someone would’ve told me to not sign a contract based on excitement but to have someone look over it first, I was ripped off on one of my first contracts, I wish I would have had it reviewed.

4. When you have a videographer take your images or video or anything for you bring your own SD card or memory card and make them sign an agreement.

5. Don’t assume everyone is doing things for a great cause like you do, people will talk about you for no reason at all, sometimes it’s jealousy.

You are a person of enormous influence. If you could start a movement that would bring the most amount of good to the most amount of people, what would that be? You never know what your idea can trigger. 🙂

I would like to help victims of abuse and domestic violence and provide them with safety and enough resources for survivor.

Can you please give us your favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Do you have a story about how that was relevant in your life?

Some life lessons that I learned in life is to be transparent with everything especially in business to maintain and keep good relationships with business.

Also to do things from your heart and not for personal gain only. To be passionate about what you are doing as well. For example, I took a major in college I had no interest in and I dropped out after a few years, so I learned to be passionate about what you do.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
