Hyperhidrosis is a condition that causes excessive sweating, often in the underarms, on the palms of the hands, or on the soles of the feet. Not only cause embarrassing, hyperhidrosis can also make it difficult to perform everyday tasks.

There are two proven ways to treat hyperhidrosis at home: with topical treatments or with iontophoresis. Topical creams always not work for severe hyperhidrosis. This is why many people choose to use iontophoresis. I’m glad that IontoDri send me their iontophoresis machine to review and here is my thoughts.

Iontophoresis works by sending electrical current through water. As the electrical current moves through the water and into the skin, it carries along tiny minerals that are present in tap water. Over time, those minerals plug up the skin’s pores and prevent sweating. This is not pseudoscience — it is a medically-proven treatment option that works well for many people.

You can make a simple iontophoresis machine at home with a battery (Voltage should be more than 9V), some wires, and a couple of pans. A few years ago, I even designed a more user-friendly device that people could build. But if you are not tech savvy, you have concerns about safety, or you want a sleek and refined option, then the IontoDri all-in-one iontophoresis machine may be your choice. What makes the machine so unique is that it can support one hand treatment. That means you’re left with one hand to read or to work or to even type on your computer. For the hand treatment, electric current only flows through the palms and not through the heart that makes it a 100% safe.

When I first unpacked the IontoDri device, I found the build quality was not what I expected. But the device and the accompanying accessories come in a plastic briefcase-like container. That makes it easy to store out of the way when it isn’t in use. The most important is that this iontophoresis machine supports hands and feet treatment at the same time. This helps to save our time.

Setting up the device is straightforward. For hands treatment, Even no need to connect any cables. Just fill the tray with tap water. For feet treatment, connect the all-in-one device with feet treatment tray. Cover the electrode strips with the provided towel pads is enough. When you place your hands or feet in the water, the device will automatically begin. Polarity is important, so the device switches the polarity on its own during your treatment. Different people react to the electricity differently, so you can adjust the level of current to suit your body. After finishing the treatment, you can pour out the water and pack everything back in the plastic brief case.

After using the IontoDri for a couple of weeks, I can confidently recommend it. It works exactly as intended. I have tried many products to treat my hyperhidrosis over the past few years and this is very effective. What you should pay attention is that IontoDri all-in-one machine only works for hands and feet hyperhidrosis. Not works for underarms.

If you suffer from hands and feet hyperhidrosis, then you already know how much of an effect it can have on your life and wellbeing. The IontoDri machine is a real solution for treatment at home.
