Remember when…….

Remember when you were 10?
We loved to go bowling, where you bowled with your friends and I sat and chatted with mine.

Remember when you were 4?
Establishing that independence so fiercely, and so loudly at times

Remember when you used to argue over whose Mommy I was?
My Mommy! No, My Mommy!

Today I will remember you turning 21
Being responsible, letting us know what you are doing and when.

Everyday I love that you are twins and have each other
And that we have you

Happy birthday, boys.
My really, just about to be, almost men
My heroes, in good times, and times with less good in them

Let the next chapter begin

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
