A poem for the masses. A modern tale of loss.

You took something from me that I miss dearly.

We enjoyed long evenings

cuddled up reading.

We felt content together, not seeking more.

Life was simpler

and my mind quieter.

Can we find our way back to each other? Will it ever be the same?

Can you relinquish your hold on my precious?

Dear Internet, I want my attention span back.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
