The Wheel of Time is an epic fantasy series, and Amazon is busy working on a web series. Yet, what is the best order to read these books by Robert Jordan? A long story short, The Wheel of Time book order you can find available here. One interesting fact is that the first book was published from 1990 to 2013. Unfortunately, he died before completing the whole series, and Brandon Sanderson was brought in.

 The storyline is massive and takes place where you find the Dark One breaking from prison. A simple farmer son Rand al’Thor discovers that he can wield the sword of Aes Sedai after some mysterious travelers arrive in their village. His life is turned into chaos, and the fantasy adventure begins.

Reading the Wheel of Time Books

For a solid beginning, you need to read the first three books and if you do not enjoy it after reading them, you can stop right there.

1. The Eye of the World

As with everything in life, the Wheel of Time turns as ages come and go leaving fond memories becoming legends. So, legends fade to a myth and go forgotten when the period of giving birth returns. In the Age of Prophecy and the Third Age, the world and time hangs in a balance. When Trollocs attacks The Two Rivers, half-men-beasts, five villagers flee into a world they do not know or could have imagined. They face new dangers waiting in the light and shadows.

2. The Great Hunt

Gleemen have told tales for eras of The Great Hunt of the horn. So many hunters said the story, but now the horn is found. The Horn of Valere was long thought to be a legend. The horn that raises dead heroes of the past and now it is stolen.

3. The Dragon Reborn

The water has stopped, and yet men keep dying, calling out to the Dragon. But no one knows where he is. In the heart of the stone lies the Dragon to be reborn.

4. The Shadow Rising

The seals of Shayol Ghul are weak, and the Dark One keeps reaching out in the prison. As a result, there is a shadow rising over humankind. Mins in Tar Valon sees hideous doom approaching wondering if the White Tower will break. In the Two River, Whitecloaks are riding in pursuit of a man processing golden eyes. The man is in the quest of the Dragon Reborn. High Lady Suroth among the Sea Folk in Cantorin plans to return the Seanchan armies back to the mainland. While in the Stone of Tear, the Dragon thinks about his next move.

5. The Fires of Heaven

Rand al’Thor, now the Dragon Reborn, needs to conceal his present attempts from everyone. So in the White Tower, Elaida and Amyrlin are busy with new plans. At the same time, the Forsaken Rahvin meets with three fellows to get victory over the Dragon. The Dragon again walks the land for once, causing fires to fall from heaven until all humans’ lives are blazing. Yet in Shayol Ghul, the Dark One keeps scheming.
