Scaling Compassion: How to Re-humanize the World

If you get and go where people are most hurting and care about them when you're there, suffering they can't live with becomes pain they can

I shared the above video in my presentation on listening in Moscow in October, 2017 to managers from the Russian Federation.

Although it was in English with Russian subtitles, after I showed it, I had the audience at hello and kept their attention for six hours.

Increasingly, I am presenting the Gladys Wilson and Naomi Feil video at most of my presentations with the simple question, “What do you think?”

I then follow with, “What would happen if we could spread this around the world?”

At a recent presentation someone yelled out, “It would heal everything that is wrong and re-humanize the world.”

What do YOU think?

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
