Here’s what happened when the team went to interview realtor Shameza Rahamat about her real estate journey:

Keep reading to know how it went.

It’s great to have you here. Can you please tell us more about yourself and what you do?

“I am a realtor based in the Simcoe County area. I buy, sell, and help clients in real estate. As a realtor that has been in service in Simcoe County, I guarantee that the place has a healthy economy, low crime rate, and lots of outdoor activities that will ensure you and your family’s safety and leisurely needs.

I see my personal life as something that improves my ability to relate to my clients’ needs and wants. For example, I can easily understand what type of environment her clients wish to that fit their hobbies and interests.”

What is your service area? What are the benefits of working in this area? What are the amazing features of these areas that people should know before moving here?

“I service the Simcoe County area. It has a very healthy economy, an astonishingly low crime rate and is jam-packed with a lot of outdoor activities. In addition, my service area is easily accessible to Major Highways.

As an “upper tier” municipality, the County of Simcoe is responsible for a range of municipal services, which include social housing, land ambulance, and emergency planning, environmental services, a county road system, Ontario Works, children’s services, homes for the aged, a library co-operative, museum, archives, County Forest management, tourism, a Geographic Information System, and land use policy planning. Simcoe County is an amazing place for anyone interested to live within it.”

Do you work with a specific type of client or within a specific niche?

“I have worked with many first-time homebuyers as well as many residential sellers. The market is huge, and there are so many different types of people that I have encountered, but I mostly work with first-time homebuyers.”

How is the market performing right now? Is it the right time to acquire your services?

“The market is great for first-time home buyers, and It’s the perfect time to buy, sell or invest. However, I really believe that clients should take advantage of the interest rates when they get the chance to do so. Letting go of something this good is not a decision I would recommend having.”

Tell us a little about your personal life? Ex: who do you live with? What are your hobbies? Do you have any pets? Etc.

“Even though I am passionate about real estate, it’s not the only place where I spend my valuable time. I am a loving wife to my partner, and I always enjoy spending my precious time riding bikes, walking, and reading.”

What are some pieces of advice that you would give to potential clients looking to buy, sell or invest in your service area?

“Don’t be in a rush or let anyone influence you. It’s your decision to make. Although we realtors help put you into the homes that fit their desires, you are still the ones who hold the final decision in buying a place that you want. So, being in a rush is never good for anyone, especially when it’s a person looking for their future home.”
