Positively Uncomfortable Day 2: Redefining Age

Age Doesn't Define You, Your Actions Do!

Today we will dive into how to shift the age mindset with knowledge from Australia, Virginia, and Canada to unlock your full potential.

Fiction -> Age starves our freedom and growth

Fake News -> We should envy and question people’s age and create negative stereotypes about generations.

Facts- > Age does not limit us, rather it is the key to unlocking fulfillment on our journey

Age enhances our power to share our experiences, maximizes time enjoyed in the present moment, and contributes to the amount of people we can positively impact on our journey.

I have been so lucky to have countless people 5+ years younger and older than me that have educated and energized me on my journey to create epic experiences in the moment and help me become who I am today. I have also been lucky to have many doubting and rejecting me which has only motivated me even further to go after my dreams to create an environment where everyone wakes up fulfilled in this beautiful world each day.

The reality of the situation is that once I got into the battlefield of chasing my dreams, people from all different ages have invested time and energy into helping and inspiring me. I wouldn’t be anywhere near my progress without them. Whether it is Skyping a dad in Dublin who inspired me through his story of overcoming depression through good habits, inspiring a dad who saved my life in South Africa to climb Lionshead Mountain for the sunrise, having my Chief Positivity Officer whose a Mother send me inspirational haiku’s every morning, having an educational conversational experience with a 14 year old who is going to positively change the world through AI, or two 18 year olds providing a fresh innovative perspective on how we can redefine role models and sacrifices, age truly doesn’t define us, it only makes us stronger together and makes the journey more fulfilling wherever we are in the present.

All of the epic experiences and fulfillment I have each day from these people would have never happened if I didn’t shift my mindset. I used to have a toxic false confidence mindset that I knew everything and didn’t bother trying to add value to others because why would it help me? This is why I was never fulfilled in the past. Instead of providing education to the youth, having meaningful interactions with Generation X and The Boomers, I would become envious of others younger who had more time and the older who had accomplished so much that I felt the pressure to live up to. I always thought the grass was greener at someone else’s age. It was the easy, comfortable, and unfulfilling cool thing to do.

The truth is that it is a miracle to be alive today and we have done everything in our power with the best of our knowledge to get to the present moment. The grass is greener where we are in the present moment educating and learning every day together as one. Envy and Doubt is only going to starve your fulfillment.

We all have flaws, we have all have made mistakes, and we all have gifts. But keeping those to yourself is going to be a disservice to yourself and others.

By vulnerably sharing everything I have learned up until this point with those younger than me and absorbing every piece of advice I am lucky enough to receive from those older than me, my life has changed my life for the better. These conversations have allowed me to become mentally and physically healthy and live every day inspiring and educating others to reach their full potential fulfilled being themselves. I would be nothing without the hundreds of people who have shared knowledge with me. YOU are all amazing!

However, even becoming a good functional human being in society didn’t equate to ultimate fulfillment. It is important to be the best possible version of yourself every day making others feel worthy, but the greatest fulfillment for me has come from other people’s achievements that I have educated and inspired to go after their dreams. Thank you all who made me fulfilled!

If you are still reading this, you have everything you need today to start being fulfilled. You have something to educate the world on. You have the ability to gain knowledge from others to embark on a journey of a lifetime. The worst thing you can do is hide your knowledge and experiences in the past and prevent your mind from continuously learning from those younger and older than you.

We all have our own unique struggles and life experiences, and educating others about your past is only going to make the journey more enjoyable and more fulfilling for both parties. Each one of you is a shining star in your own way and no matter where you are today you can indirectly have a positive snow ball effect on the world and assist those who are shaping the world to move forward in the right direction.

Your mindset, not your age, will determine how fulfilled you are on your journey. Each one of our journey’s is unique but everyone who has touched me is on my journey, and I am apart of everyone’s journey who I have touched. That’s the beauty of life, we are all on each other’s journeys and the only thing in our control is to spread education, love, and appreciation for each other’s journey. Let’s choose to move forward together as one journey. Then we can all win fulfilled

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
