A reliable quick recipe that will support you and your loved ones to increase metabolism while you dine on deliciousness.

The main ingredient in this recipe is Garbanzo Beans. Participants in a recent study reported more satisfaction with their diet when garbanzo beans were included, and they consumed fewer processed food snacks during test weeks in the study when garbanzo beans were consumed, fewer processed snacks means happy metabolism. They also consumed less food overall when the diet was supplemented with garbanzo beans. So, may the feast begin!

Metabolism Increasing Hummus Recipe


3 cups pre soaked garbanzo beans

1 cup sesame seeds

1/2 cup lemon juice

1 cup spring or filtered water

1 teaspoon Celtic salt (optional)

1 pinch paprika


Soak the garbanzo beans in a bowl for 8 hours (or more, not less)

Put all ingredients into blender except the paprika

Blend until smooth and creamy- around 1 minute

Pour/scoop into bowl and sprinkle with paprika to serve.

Tip: Hummus is amazing as a dip, you could dip with celery, carrots, capsicum or crackers. It’s great with so many things even on sandwiches, potatoes and salads.
