Meghan Markle and Michelle Obama ― two people who are widely lauded for their candor and vocal support of women ― met in London on Monday night, according to the Evening Standard.

The “power meeting” took place after a book tour event where Obama was promoting her buzzy memoir, Becoming, which Kensington Palace confirms Markle attended as a private citizen. This Markle/Obama summit is gaining tons of attention online — a testament to the influence the two have, both individually and as a pair, on our culture. Fans are dying to know the intimate details of their conversation because they’re hungry for the practical guidance that these two trailblazers are known to shed.

Here’s what we do know about their conversation, from an anonymous source who spoke with the Standard: “They spoke at length about the importance of supporting and empowering women across all cultures and communities. They also talked about shared experiences of pregnancy and raising children, plus shared causes including girls’ education.”

This isn’t the first time that Obama has offered advice to Markle. “The pressure you feel ― from yourself and from others ― can sometimes feel like a lot. So my biggest piece of advice [for her] would be to take some time and don’t be in a hurry to do anything,” Obama told Good Housekeeping after a reporter asked what she would tell the Duchess.  Taking the time to ease into new responsibilities, and managing new stressors and pressure — that’s valuable advice we can all use.
