Meet Elena Beuca, a Romanian-American film director, actress, and producer known for Talita (2020), Connectivity (2010), and Gang Related (2014). Born on October 27, 1979, in Transylvania which is a small village in Hateg, Romania. She is also a revivalist and an awesome content creator who make inspirational and motivational videos, host podcast to help people fight negativity and stay strong in a situation like COVID-19. Now she makes awesome inspirational and motivational content on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Let’s get insights into her views about life and the work she has been doing.
What is the most common question people usually ask?
Mostly people ask this question to me is how do they expand so that they can reach more people and can be more impactful other than documenting life. My answer always is to speak from the heart you know because right now I’m not focused on growth but also to affect more lives and help people to fight negativity. I’m not focused on making a staged content, whatever I speak is truly from my heart without taking any retakes and I believe if you speak something from your heart, it always comes out leaving an impact on people.
What recommendations do you have for someone starting in your industry?
It’s not about I’m focused on making content for social media. I’m more focused on inspiring and motivating people. I know that it’s going to take some time to grow more but I just wanted to share a basic tip to reach more people and that is to connect with your audience. People usually want someone who listens and provides them a solution for their problems, I may not reply to everyone on my social media accounts but I always read their comments so I can learn what my audience is looking for and then I make the right thing for them so I can keep engagement and impact their lives.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
I’ll tell you now when I start something I don’t even begin to think about how many more people I can reach and I’ve been reaching for the fruit, and within just a few weeks I have reached over 5 million video views on Facebook and that is a really big number for me. Talking about inspiration, well you can find it anywhere in anyone, whether you talk about a small kid or an elder person but what motivates me the most is my family and every individual who is a part of my life and once you find that motivation, it’s the passion that keeps inspiring you day in and day out. If you are passionate about it, numbers wouldn’t matter much, it’s the patience that counts, and trust me you will reach where you want to be in a matter of no time.
What is one piece of advice that you have never forgotten?
For me I think the best thing you can do for yourself is to study yourself, to see what passions you have, each one of us has a gift that God has given us. When someone realizes it and finds what I’m good at whether it’s like I’m good at writing, or I’m good at directing or I’m good at doing business, it could be anything, one should work on finding it first and the main focus is to help people with our gifts. God has given us gifts to help people and we just have to find it.
I advise a plan to myself that I have to impact the future generation, I want to impact the film industry around the globe on how movies or tv shows are made. I want them to be rawer and tell truths about life than just cooked up stories, I want people to learn and be positive about it. I know that it’s going to take time but, in the end, I’ll because I have faith and I believe in myself and that is the key.
I want to make sure that once you know with watching your content, you should be doing what you are passionate about. Money should not be the main motive as it will follow your success when you are good at it.
People out there who want to be rich, trust me you don’t want to be just rich, either find a purpose behind it which means something. I’m more positive you know and that’s really what my ultimate goal is going to be. So, always stay positive about yourself and believe in what you do for good.
