Thrive Global: What gives you energy?

Arsenii Savitskii:  Well, sometimes it’s sport and my family, which supports me a lot,  sometimes it’s motivation to achieve new goals, also when I see results what shoots I’ve done, what brands I’ve worked with, it gives me a lot of energy

TG: What's your secret life hack?

AS:  There is no life hack, just believe in yourself and what you do, do what you have/need to do, and someday you’ll get where you want to be. Sooner or later

TG: Name a book that changed your life.

AS: A few books of Erich Maria Remarque, they definitely changed a lot inside of me, after those books you learn to appreciate you life and what do you have, if you didn’t do it before haha

TG: Tell us about your relationship with your phone. Does it sleep with you?

AS: Unfortunately yes, I think each and every person in 21 century has this kind of relationship with their cell phones. Sometimes it gets annoying to maintain you social media, but if you don’t do it – you don’t exist haha

TG: How do you deal with email?

AS: I have to be 24/7 available for my agency and response quick, because sometimes I can get email with casting or shoot in it a few hours before it starts.

TG: You unexpectedly find 15 minutes in your day, what do you do with it?

AS: I check my reminders in the cell phone; see what I haven’t done during day this day, and usually I have plenty more things to do.   

TG: When was the last time you felt burned out and why?

AS: well, I didn’t really I think, I work a lot , sometimes I have two shoots a day, or in last month I had really crazy couple weeks, I flew Los Angeles-New-York-Boston-Seattle straight, and it was exhausting – I barely got sleep in the flights and then straight to the shoot where you have to be friendly and cool to the client and deliver mood what do they want and look how do they need, so if I feel tired or exhausted I just switch to sport or different thing, like reading or something completely opposite.

TG: When was the last time you felt you failed and how did you overcome it?

AS: haha I’m enjoying of failings, every time I fail, at first I get sad for a little while, then realize that you can learn from it, you can improve yourself, you know something new, and if you are smart enough change your strategy and go ahead with the smile.

TG: Share a quote that you love and that gives you strength or peace.

AS: “The only way to predict our future is to create it”
