Millions of people around the world are isolated at home due to the COVID-19 virus. This pandemic has affected every industry, including the fashion world. Castings, shows, and shoots have come to a halt, which for model Aga Wojtasik was her main focus and source of income. Before this current situation, she was modeling consistently for companies like Net-A-Porter, Pat McGrath, French Connection, Anthropologie, Calvin Klein, LaQuan Smith, and more. Though her life has been temporarily altered, Aga is taking advantage of this time to show off her other skills on social platforms like Instagram.

Wojtasik has been in lockdown in her New York City apartment for over a month now. Her career is on pause, so all of this free time has allowed her to indulge in her favorite hobby. Cooking has been her meditation and escape from uncertainty. Utilizing her hobbies to keep her followers entertained. The young model is getting creative with her nutrition interests by mixing anything and everything in her cabinets. Aga wants to show her followers how to whip up healthy options with miscellaneous items.

For years, Aga has experimented in the kitchen. She took all praise and criticism to heart from her friends and family over the years, and has grown into a confident chef. One that is now ready to share her talent with her 22k (and growing) followers. She creatively films her cooking process on social media. Her niche is health-focused foods, for example she incorporates nutritious substitutes, such as cauliflower, in replacement of flour in typical carb-heavy foods.

The 22-year-old model believes it is important to “work on healthy relationships with food.” She is aware of the stigmas around models with eating disorders, but Aga hopes to shed a positive light on the importance of health and nutrition. She wants to inspire others to effectively shape and benefit their bodies from the inside out. Most of her recipes can be found on her Instagram highlights, and more will be uploaded this month.
