Let’s Shed the Invisibility Cloak and Share our Scenarios

What’s your story?

I’m sure you’ve seen this by now. And if you work from home, you’ve probably experienced this feeling (while perhaps not on CNN).

Let’s shed the invisibility cloak and share our scenarios.

I’ll go first… One time I was trying to get our CEO on the phone all day for his final comments on an important communication that was going out. When he was finally available to call me at 7pm and asked “is this a good time?” of course I said yes. Meanwhile my toddler daughter was talking to me and making noise so I started to toss M&Ms to her in hopes she’d eat them quietly. Instead she just looked at me wondering why mommy was so crazy.

What’s your story?

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
