Let It Go

Rev. Misty Tyme on The Forgiveness Algorithm™

let it go Rev. Misty Tyme on The Forgiveness Algorithm™ #LivingFearlessly with Lisa McDonald

I am truly loving and appreciating the diversity, and the variety of those who I am continuously interviewing and showcasing on the Living Fearlessly with Lisa McDonald global-reaching, radio/podcast show!

Given my ongoing commitment to nurturing and fostering the evolution of my own growth and my own rapid development, I am truly savouring the trajectory of the steep learning curve I am (forever) voluntarily on – and all as a result of choosing to interview people whose beliefs, skill sets, life experiences, and paths in life are not necessarily similar to those of my own. However, what is most fundamentally important for what it is that we do mutually share in common with one other, which is uniquely signature to each of us, is our unwavering and steadfast commitment to showing up, and to serve the collective!

When I say, “Vibe Attracts Tribe,” it is not premised on the criteria nor the prerequisite that each of us be a replica or a carbon copy of one another – far from it! I consider myself to be synergistically and energetically aligned with many people – radio guests included, and whose outlooks or perspectives can and do, far differ from that of my own, and yet, we still participate in deeply thoughtful and genuinely meaningful discussions; often leading to other forms of collaboration and partnership.

It is my intrinsic belief, that the healthiest and the purest form of conversation and relationship derives out of the willingness, and the receptivity to remain open-minded. My platforms are designed for other people to find, and to use their own voice, and to express their own individual messaging. The culmination of what I have learned, and have even adopted into my own journey, as a result of who I have showcased on radio for the past almost five years, is invaluable! For this and for so much more, I am eternally grateful!

It was both an honour and a privilege to interview, Rev. Misty Tyme, last week on Living Fearlessly with Lisa McDonald! This is a highly intuitive, highly evolved, self-empowered woman who has an imperative message – a message – which applies to every other fellow human being on the planet whether acted upon or not.

Misty is a Forgiveness Expert, and although I have showcased many experts of many niche markets over the years, interviewing a Forgiveness Expert, specifically – has surprisingly…been my first to date! A welcomed treat!

As human beings, we are naturally a flawed species. None of us are infallible. We have all made mistakes, and we will continue to do so, for it is naturally part and parcel of our human nature and of our DNA. Whether intentional or non-intentional, we have all been on both sides of the forgiveness spectrum either as a result of someone wronging us or us wronging another. In some instances, the onus of apologizing has been our own individual responsibility to initiate the offering of, and in other circumstances, we are on the receiving end of a forthcoming apology, which is extended toward us. Sometimes forgiveness is asked and sometimes forgiveness is granted. Many times, it is a combination of the two, and in other unfortunate situations, apologies and forgiveness are often withheld.

The subject of forgiveness is oftentimes, a highly, emotionally charged topic based on what lies at the crux of it for all of us as humans – unresolved conflict, emotional scars, triggers, lack of closure, lack of responsibility, lack of ownership, betrayal, a breech of trust, impropriety, and truly…the list for many, is in arguably a long one. We have also heard many a story told by people (including even ourselves) who have indicated that the apology they received was seemingly obligatory or disingenuous. Or that the extended gesture of apology was strongly urged by a third party for the sake of damage control, thereby the apology was more so agenda based rather than heartfelt or sincere.

It goes without saying that we all embody emotional wounds – some wounds and some people more healed in their totality than others. There are those among us who have in fact received a genuinely sincere apology, and yet, are sill unable to release and surrender the painful energies associated with those said hurts. Conversely, there are others among us who have never received a well-deserved apology or so-called closure, and yet in-spite of that – they/we choose to lead very healthy, well-rounded, forward-thinking, positive, joy-filled, and self-empowered lives.

I have interviewed many people, who by no coincidence, tend to belong to the latter category, and who rise and shine, and go about life, making the concerted choice to manifest greatness as opposed to dwell in bitterness. Those who choose to heal themselves regardless of who else assumes culpability or not. These guests are the warriors, and the champions of who has ‘sur-thrived’ and who has overcome the tsunamis in their lives – those whose commitment and purpose is grounded in and centered on – expansion, enlightenment, encouragement, and in the uplifting of others – so as to elevate the collective consciousness for the greater good of all. This is #LivingFearlessly  – intentionally, deliberately, and on purpose!

These folk aka my radio/podcast guests, are those I deem and consider to be the beacons of light, the light-seekers, the soul-stirrers, the change-makers – each of whom, I personally characterize as the real Influencers, the real Agents of Change, the real Heroes, the real Sheroes, and the true Leaders!

Rev. Misty Tyme is certainly all of the aforementioned, and a bag of chips (or a granola bar) to boot! Misty is such a divinely spirited soul! An expansively deep and richly enlightened woman, who legitimately emboldens forgiveness. Her expertise and established credibility on Forgiveness – as a concept, as a construct, as an ideology and as a business model, would otherwise not exist if not for Misty – first and foremost –  choosing to do the necessary and the ongoing self work. You cannot authentically teach what you do not authentically practice. You cannot effectively empower others if you yourself are dis-empowered. You cannot aspire to help others heal if you yourself are living in a perpetual state of wounded puppy mode. You cannot give what you do not have. You cannot congruently show up for others if you yourself, choose to disregard showing up for yourself. This is Universal Law. Results do not lie.

Misty chose to embrace forgiveness at every cornerstone, especially when faced with the decision to either forgive or to not forgive. When we choose to forgive ourselves…when we choose to relinquish guilt, shame, doubt, and regret, and allow ourselves the sacred gift of healing, the intuitive gift of trusting and believing…it is in this energetic space whereby anything becomes possible! It is within this energetic space that we can apply and integrate the learned lessons.

Surrendering and relinquishing is the gift we give ourselves.
Surrendering and relinquishing what no longer serves us, is also what creates room and opportunity to allow for all the goodness and all the greatness to pour in. Cleansing our spirit, dispensing of the hurt, while absolving ourselves of the shackles of our past, is what is necessary for restoring and for reclaiming ourselves.

For Misty’s own instinctual reasons and for Misty’s sense of self-awareness – this is what has made possible, Misty being very attuned to knowing her own self-worth, while also recognizing her own deservability for happiness and healthiness. Misty has successfully maneuvered and navigated true, and purposeful alignment in her journey – all predicated on the necessity of alignment with self as the key and core priority above all else. Misty choosing to be integral with self, is what has allowed everything else that is important to her – to healthily materialize, and to come to tangible fruition. You have to believe it to see it! Well-done, Misty!

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
