Founder of BEINFLUENCE.CO, Kim Delmonico, is an inspiration to all women. Over the years, Kim has helped a lot of women across the world achieve their goals by being their mentors and guiding them through the journey of life.

In this article, we will uncover the values and principles she applies each day to help her achieve such great feats.

Overcoming Obstacles

Entrepreneurs face a lot of obstacles every day, and the only way they achieve real growth is by dealing with the barriers.

At the start of her entrepreneurial journey, Kim faced a lot of emotional obstacles. Initially, she wasn’t ready for the ups and downs that came along with entrepreneurship.

There were some days when her business saw remarkable growth, and there were others when it saw a complete standstill. She also accepted projects that were way below the average rates she would have collected.

To curb this, Kim suggests you plan. Don’t dive into entrepreneurship without a plan. And when searching for clients, don’t belittle yourself because of money; you will find better clients once you perfect your craft and search harder.

Avoiding Stress and burn out

Stress is something we all experience. And it’s commonly caused by too much work or lack of rest.

Kim wards off stress by scheduling her tasks for the day, no matter how small the task may be.  She does this to ensure she remembers to scratch off all her tasks for the day

Apart from this, here are some other activities Kim recommends you do to reduce stress; Try journaling down what you’re stressed about and look for ways to solve them.

Once you acknowledged the problems you’re facing, they’ll be easier to solve.

The second thing Kim recommends might not be considered an activity- Relaxing and doing things that give you joy. Once in a while, take a break and go and a vacation.

Drawing Inspiration

When she worked as a waitress at the 40/40 club, Kim looked up to Desiree Perez. At the time, Desiree was in charge of operations there and made sure everything worked just fine.

Desiree’s work ethic inspired Kim, and she shares with his that it was unlike anything she had seen before.

Kim learned fundamental business tenets from Desiree, and today, those principles have helped her scale her business to the level it is today.

Here’s some advice from Kim to anyone who’s pursuing success in their career;

“Find someone who is the place you want to be and find out what it took them to get there. Reach out and ask for advice, help, and mentorship.

I won’t be where I am today without the mentors who’ve guided me through all the obstacles I’ve faced.”
