With his mother and father’s work ethic, industry, and passion driving him, Jeff Z. Johnson entered the sales industry with the ambition to be more than just an employee.

Jeff went to college and studied Business Administration. While studying, he worked as a telemarketer for a lawn care company.

Remembering his parents, Jeff would work late into the night making calls, setting up appointments, and closing deals. This was his first foray into corporate life.

Jeff knew he would not be able to graduate from student to CEO. Upon graduation he entered the corporate world.

Jeff’s first corporate job out of school was as a Direct Salesman for a copy and fax machine company. No lead generation programs existed at this time – Jeff went door to door and business to business.

He would end up staying at this company for 15 years, building his knowledge through hand-on work and the company’s extensive training programs.

Jeff’s hard work paid off and his selling rates earned him multiple promotions throughout the 15 years. Jeff went from Direct Salesman to Major Account Representative, and then to the company’s National Account Manager.

After getting as high on the corporate ladder as he could, Jeff determined he wanted more than the corporate life could offer.

He left his corporate job and entered the entrepreneurial world.

Evolving from Corporate Employee to CEO Innovator

Jeff started a company called MarketQuest to help small businesses develop marketing plans to grow their revenue and reach.

Jeff had big plans for MarketQuest, but his youth and budget didn’t allow him to develop the business as he wished. MarketQuest only lasted a year.

Needing stability and a source of income, Jeff returned to the corporate world. Not because he wanted to, but because he knew he needed to continue to develop his business acumen.

Jeff worked at a merchant business as a Services Processor. Quickly, Jeff noticed that this company ran their business in a way that he could not accept.

They did not communicate essential information to customers and were more results-driven than client success driven.

Jeff knew he could do the same thing, but better.

After a few years, he left his corporate job, bringing with him his knowledge of the merchant industry and a resolution to always be upfront and transparent with his clients.

Determined to succeed through industry, innovation, and passion, Jeff began constructing SalesHead Services and its unique approach.

Building SalesHead Service’s Unique Top and Bottom Line Approach

Jeff began SalesHead Services in 2016 as an independent agency of one.

As an independent salesman, he sold the same services as his previous job, but this time on how own terms. This meant transparency and value for money for his restaurant and business clients.

Jeff continued to develop Saleshead as a premier merchant processing company. Then, in 2019, he partnered with a Digital-marketing company.

SalesHead Services was now a merchant process company as well as a Digital-marketing company.

Jeff built SalesHead Services into a full business management consultant directed at providing restaurants and businesses with everything they needed to grow and scale.

This is the unique combination Jeff created to improve his clients’ top and bottom lines.

This combination of services led to Jeff scaling and developing his team to meet client needs. He has continued to expand his services by devising a strategy for restaurants and business clients to maximize growth with minimum investment.

Jeff begins any client campaign with a full PPS review and implementation. Using service based software solutions, he improves clients’ efficiency and reduces their operating costs.

Jeff and the SalesHead team then set up a pre-built automated messaging system between the client and its customers.

Clients retrieve customer emails and phone numbers, and once added to the system, can be reached through text or email whenever the restaurant or business has a promotion or event to share.

This means SalesHead clients have a direct line of communication to its customers – they can even send them discounts and messages on their birthdays.

These services save Jeff’s clients money and make them earn more revenue. If this alone wasn’t enough, Jeff and his team implement the second phase of the SalesHead strategy.

Digital-marketing follows the first phase. Because the client has saved money through efficiency, cost reduction, and increased revenue, they have the freedom to invest that money in increasing Digital-marketing campaigns.

Jeff and his team set their clients up with a tailored package from their 170 Digital-marketing services and products.

Some of these services and products include social media management, listings on review sites, and an automated notification system for whenever a customer leaves a review. SalesHeads restaurant and business clients are empowered to engage with their customers, ask questions, make comments, and show them that they care.

As a CEO, Jeff learned from his corporate career. His unique approach in combining merchant processing services with Digital-marketing is an innovative service that continues to help his clients save and make money.

Jeff’s evolution from corporate employee to innovative CEO of SalesHead Services did not come easily. He had to work, fail, and try again. But he did, and his success proves that when you have a strong work ethic, embrace industry, and believe you can accomplish your passions, that you can go from a cubicle to an office suite.
