Jenny Brooks

Tell me a little bit about your background and how you ended up choosing the social media marketing field.

Being a Mom of three I would say. Social media I think really found me. This all started with me just posting photos of my babies for my family on Facebook and one day a modeling agency in NYC scouted these posts and wanted to work with me. We worked professionally for quite some time.

Then, I made an Instagram page to keep an eye on my son once he signed up to the platform.

I started posting photos of my youngest and businesses just began reaching out to us to rep their brand. Things really sky rocketed from there.

What made you take the leap into entrepreneurship?

I have always had an entrepreneur mindset since my teenage days. Once I had kids, I knew I wanted to be a stay at home Mom but also one bringing in income.

You can do anything if you set your mind to it. I didn’t even finish high school but have always been a hustler.

Now, I own a million-dollar business. It’s truly just putting your mind to something and committing to it!

You are more likely to stick to it if it’s something you truly love and are constantly giving it your absolute all!

It is also most important to not give up!

What are 3 best practice tips you can share with our readers as it relates to your industry?

 1) Find what your passion is, then share it with the world. Social media is such a FREE and HUGE way to get started and to get your voice heard. Be yourself!

2) Once you have a strong fan base, start off selling one product within your story. If you’re for women’s rights or women empowerment, then that can be as simple as a shirt with a quote or even a necklace with a quote. See how it does and grow from there.

3) Reply and talk back with all your fans the best you can. Truly important!

I started off as a very small influencer like most people! Then it turned into me being a big influencer.

Now, I have a business called International Loops LLC that we utilize to get influencers/brands/businesses in front of millions on Instagram.

How do you personally define success?

Success for me is just being happy in what I’m doing. I mean everyone has ups and downs in all areas of life.

But if you’re doing what you love and succeeding at it — that’s major success in my book!

How do you differentiate yourself from others in your field?

I would say because I eat, sleep, and breath my passion. That also means me eat, sleeping, and breathing getting my clients to where they want to be.

They have my personal number and can call me 24/7. I want them to kick butt! I want them to grow as fast as they would like.

I am constantly trying to out-perform myself. I think me just truly giving my clients all that I can and loving it!

What would you say to someone who came to you for advice about taking the ‘leap of faith’ into entrepreneurship?

I would tell them to GO FOR IT and get started RIGHT NOW! Don’t wait! It’s a constant win-lose, and lose-win, and you learn more and more as you go.

If you keep waiting for the perfect time or set up, it will never happen. You get better and better as you go through all the hardships.

But also, be ready to work your butt off! It’s not easy and there will be lots of tears, but in the end it will all be worth it. Just don’t give up!

We are entering an era where everyone is interested in multiple income streams. How does one decide on a business to pursue?

Yes, that’s very true! They say the average millionaire has 7 streams of income.

I would say find what you really love first. Then, find a way to turn that into some sort of income.

The next step is to scale and get it to where you have enough profit saved to venture out into other things that have caught your attention.

What would you say was the single most influential factor in your business’ success?

Networking! Meeting amazing people along the way and them truly taking me by the hand and getting stuff done with me!

I mean I have THE BEST team ever.

Name 3 people in the business world who inspire you the most.

Oh man, there are so many! But 3 of my favorites I follow daily are:

Jordan Belfort, Gary Vaynerchuk, and Grant Cardone or should I say Elena Cardone?!

I just love them all and have found so much value in all they share with the world.

How can you be reached if someone is interested in your services?
