Well-Being//

Interact with a colleague outside of your team for 15 minutes this week.

Break out.

Break out of your team bubble and chat with someone in a different group or division. A research study showed that a salesperson’s revenue grows by 10% when he or she interacts with members of other teams.

How to do it

  • Leave your laptop and smartphone at your desk for your next meeting. Try using a notebook and pen to take notes instead.
  • If you are organizing the meeting, signal that it will be device-free in the invite and designate a note-taker.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
