In the process of pursuing her dreams, Jaycee – fondly known as Cece to most people – did not always have a clear idea of what she wanted to pursue but she had a solid vision of what she wanted to do – to help every person who comes her way.
Jaycee is no stranger to hardships. At 16, she had to make a tough decision that changed her life. She moved from the comforts of her hometown to the city of Manila bringing with her only her innate grit and drive to succeed.
Her drive to succeed became more evident as she needed to make ends meet. She pursued a college degree while working 2 jobs in one of the biggest call center industries in the Philippines. She called these days “the times that molded me to look at hardships as an opportunity for growth.” And growth seems to come naturally for this woman.
Having to go through a lot at a very young age and becoming a mother, Jaycee had a realization that working from home or freelancing is the most ideal thing to do for her and that led her into this season of life.
Getting a client wasn’t easy, she experienced rejection after rejection and that went on for three months until she met the person who changed the course of her journey – a real estate investor from Georgia.
In all that time, though, she always knew there was something bigger for her. She says, “I knew from day one that I wanted to help other people to not just get a job but to provide them with the same opportunity I had and it didn’t take me much time or thinking to realize once I understood how important it is to change people’s lives for the better.” The desire to do something bigger fueled her through the months and she quickly turned that desire into a reality.
With her own space, she pushed through rough patches, two unsavory business partnerships that rocked her business. Again, this encouraged her to take another big step: shifting from partnership to owning the business. From there, she continued growing her business to be a successful and honest virtual assistant agency – now called JT Virtual Assistants also known as JTVA.
In a span of ten months, JTVA has closed millions of dollars worth of real estate deals and she has helped fifty five Filipinos reach their dreams and that’s even during this pandemic. Now, they’re officially registered for business in the Philippines and in the United States.
When asked about her secret to success, she only credits it to one thing – the desire to help and to always be kind. As she said, “My desire to help both entrepreneurs and people looking for jobs is what truly drives this boat to success. I love helping people! I want real estate entrepreneurs to feel less burdened by having a great real estate virtual assistant. I want to witness my team succeed- whether that is to get their dream home, dream car, or simply get out of poverty!”
She also owes much of her success to her drive, instilled in her by her mother, a saleswoman and her ultimate hero. She’s also used a simple mindset shift to take her job on this remarkable journey.
Call it good karma – Jaycee’s life has also turned for the better. She’s now a glowing mom of 2, a thriving CEO, and a gritty business woman clients love to work with – life’s blessings she wants to share with her team.
She looks back on every step with no regrets: “Hey, everything I have done, I have done it with my heart to give and to help. I always believed in good, and that God has a way of giving it back to you. So, do not let the chain of love end with you, when you’re able and capable – help”
With so much support and love from the community, she and her team quickly branched out to serving the trucking industry, and before they knew it, they were also providing VAs to business owners in Australia.
