If there’s one thing you should do in 2018, it is LET GO

It will open up new possibilities and opportunities that you never imagined...

Let go in 2018

A recent conversation with my daughter went as below.

Me: Do you know that 2017 is coming to an end and a new year will start shortly.

She: Hmm.. So what? It is another day and same routine. What is the big deal?

Me: It is a good time to think and see what you want for the new year. What you want to do? To think what will you become when you grow big?

She: Why do I need new year for that? I know what I want. I want to be Rapenzul, grow long hair and live like a princess.

Conversation Over! Today’s generation of kids have clarity, confidence and curiosity which is remarkable.

Fundamental to this is their ability to let go of things which are irrelevant, unimportant and insignificant in their view of the world.

With 2018 round the corner, I honestly believe that if there is one lesson everyone should take with them it is to practice the art of Letting Go . Why? simply because it will open up new possibilities and opportunities that you never imagined…

If you are wondering what you should let go, here’s a list of things I have tried to let go in 2017 and it took me to places I never imagined existed.. Try it in 2018 and see where it can take you!

Let go of self-limiting beliefs;

Let go of self-imposed constraints;

Let go of fear of the unknown; (you will never know everything)

Let go of the need to be perfect ;

Let go of judging everything every time;

Let go of people who take you away from where you really want to go ;

Let go of the need to please and appease;

Let go of past choices; (they happened for a reason)

Let go of anything that is beyond your locus of control; (you cannot change them)

Let go of the need for control

Let go of negativity – in any form or figure;

Let go of others dreams for you;

And while you let go of all this, you will realize that you have a lot of time, energy and space in your life.. So welcome

New dreams

New expressions

New experiences

New people

New journeys

New destinations

New tears

New laughs

New highs

New lows

New flows

New routines

New ways

New loves

New times

And most importantly a new YOU!

On that note I wish you a very Happy New Year 2018!

Hope it is blessed and the bestest ever!

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
