I often receive many pm’s, texts and emails beginning with the words, “If it wasn’t for you”… I love it when I see these, but the truth is, if it wasn’t for YOU, not me! I may begin the initial journey for you by introducing you to the path you should be on… or I may give you an intuitive reading or counselling session, but it’s not me who embarks upon that path… it’s you! May I be as bold as to say, if it wasn’t for you… I wouldn’t be on the path I’m on… you are the ones who are keeping me on the straight and narrow by being able to give you suggestions and or advice as to what to do next… “If it wasn’t for you” feels really good, it sends a surge of feelings of success right through my body, but, the feelings of success belong to you, not me… the paths we take in our lives are already planned out before we are even born… the destiny that belongs to us is ours alone… we do not share our destinies with any other human being … yes! We do share our lives with others but not our destinies… I haven’t taken your hand and controlled your emotions and or your reactions, you’ve done that… I haven’t walked behind you, pushing you or making you get back up every time you have fallen down… I’ve been there without actually being there, yes! For advice and suggestions I believe would further your destiny but I haven’t been there to make sure you took it… I haven’t forced you down any particular path towards greatness or success… you’ve done that all on your own and no one has done any of that for me… Ive done that all on my own… We are capable human beings doing what we need to do when we need to do it… so when you consider writing to me or anyone else for that matter… “If it wasn’t for you”… please reconsider and recognise what you, yourself have achieved… Give yourself a huge hug or a big pat on the back and know you are doing a great job… if it wasn’t for you, you wouldn’t be where you are today, if it wasn’t for the decisions you’ve made, you wouldn’t be where you are today… I’m so proud of every one of you who I’ve been allowed to have some sort of influence in your lives, but if it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be there either… so be proud! Be happy with where you are… if you’re not happy, change where you are and if you’re not happy with who you are… change who you are… for you! Not for anyone else to take the credit for what you’ve done… for you and you only… we‘re all given a path to follow when we’re born and if you decide its not the path for you, take a detour … embark on the journey you desire and do it for you! Don’t make decisions based on others opinions… their opinions play no part in your destiny… blog off!
