“…Education, education and more spiritual education. Right now, the amount of separation between people based on religious beliefs, political beliefs and diverse backgrounds is gigantic. It’s so easy to bring people together. My dream is to find a way where people can celebrate life through music, traveling, through volunteering with the less fortunate, and to have Thanksgiving every week, not once a year! To make sure that we actually sit down and speak, and listen to one another, no matter our differences. Like Mother Theresa said, “As soon as you have a pro-peace rally I will be there!” Fear is driving our universe into more and more separations between people. I would gather twice a year for a full week, five different types of people: spiritual people, influential people, famous people, beautiful people and brave people. I would sit with these people and explain to them they affect the world altogether more than the spiritual leaders by themselves. Once they study spirituality we would be able to prevent war and hatred through fame, beauty, money and education. We would be able to bring peace in the world working with these different types of people together. I believe if you are born into one of these categories you have been chosen by the Divine to make a change in the world that we are all waiting for.”

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
My story begins before I was born. I came from a lineage of people who came from North Africa. My family used spiritual methods and mysticism to cure people from problems, or to find what the problem is and remove any type of evil that would affect the person.
When I was eight, I had a crying attack and couldn’t stop. My parents looked at each other and decided to take me to my grandfather. When we arrived, he put a handkerchief around my neck and told me to lie down on the couch. After 45 minutes of lying there, I felt as if something had left me, as if my grandfather took some kind of negativity out of me. On the way home I asked my mother what happened, I was puzzled as to what my grandfather actually did. My mother proceeded to tell me that my grandfather was famous in the city of Tripoli, Libya as a demon fighter. Since then I always thought of my grandfather as Superman.
When I was a teenager all my friends used to push my father to read their future. I had no idea that my father was capable of reading cards and fortune telling. I was shocked that I was living in a house with someone who was capable of doing such things and hiding behind clothes of a general contractor. From that moment on I started looking for spirituality and mysticism. I read every book possible and searched out every guru who existed, till I met my master who taught me that everything I needed was within myself.
Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started your company?
A client of mine, who unfortunately has MS, came to me for a healing session. I told him that I’m not capable to cure his physical condition, but I could activate the spiritual energy in his body, and through that hopefully his body would start healing. The gentleman came back a week later for another session, looked me in the eye and said, “you did it!” I of course, having no clue what he was talking about, asked him, what did I do? With tears in his eyes he replied, “I can feel my left leg.” To be honest I had some doubts about my ability to help and he had more certainty than me and for that reason things got better for him.
Can you share a story about the funniest mistake you made when you were first starting? Can you tell us what lesson you learned from that?
Since I am Israeli I needed to teach myself to speak better English. I remember I gave a lecture in Santa Monica and I had five of my students who helped me run the event. The lecture was about how to read people just by looking at them. We were using very specific terms and details, and to make sure the atmosphere wasn’t too heavy I tried to tell a joke that included the words “coke and burger.” With my accent you can imagine what it sounded like. My five mentors all of a sudden left the room and everyone was laughing hysterically. I had no clue what was going on or what I had said. When we took a break, I asked them to tell me what I had said that made everyone laugh. Lesson learned. From now on I say Pepsi and hamburger!
What do you think makes your company stand out? Can you share a story?
We offer a variety of spiritual experiences including soul readings, healing sessions, hiking together and going on spiritual trips together around the world, as well as studying and meditating. That kind of variety is under one umbrella and for that reason one of my dreams is to go to the next level where we will be able to open a place that will take care of nutrition, psychology and spirituality for the individual. That inspiration came to me as I was working and volunteering in a rehab center.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
I believe that a human being is built from body and soul. The soul is all sharing and the body is all receiving. We need to learn to dance with them. There’s a time to say “I want” and a time to have to give. If you give all the time you are going to burn out. If you receive all the time you are going to burn out. Success comes from balance. The moment you share with your client all that you have, and find out their capability of receiving, you will work with them better. Sometimes you are not going to find fun or the right people, and you might feel lost. It’s ok to doubt yourself, but make sure that the doubts are just an ingredient that help you and shape you to go in the right direction that will eventually serve others. Make sure your doubts don’t keep you sad and depressed because then you will only be busy with yourself.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
I’m a person of values and principles. I’m very competitive and I love to hear the word no — it’s the best motivational tool I could have. So, I’d say everyone who told me I couldn’t do something, I’m grateful for.
There is also a longtime student I met in New York who reminded me many times that my talents were special and needed, and of course I’m grateful for my family who encourages and inspires me daily.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
My dream, which I wrote down two and a half years ago, is to build places globally that people will come and check themselves in to. We will evaluate their mental state, their spiritual beliefs and their nutrition level. Through those three indicators, we will define together what will be the best path for them to achieve their goals.
Rabbis and ministers, and heads of spiritual organizations, call me and ask me how they can turn whatever they have in their mind into great manifestations. Nothing gives me more joy than to sit with them and step-by-step, help them till they reach their full potential.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote?” Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
The quote that is my favorite is by George Bernard Shaw: “Some people see things and say why, I see things that never were and say why not?”
My spiritual master who took me to the most secret, spiritual place in the land of Israel, took me into the cave where most of the secrets were shared from the author of the Zohar to all of his disciples. Then he looked at me and put his forehead to mine and told me that verse. The lesson for me is life is not about just positive and negative, life is about when you see there is nothing and you turn it into something.
What are your “5 things I wish someone told me before I started my company” and why. Please share a story or example for each.
I am so happy I didn’t know what I didn’t know, and so happy for every mistake I did. Those mistakes built me into who I am today. I don’t see anything wrong with not knowing what I know now. Of course, I became wiser and more experienced and learned from my mistakes and from my success. I do not have any regrets and that’s one of the main subjects in the children’s book I wrote, “The Snail with No Shell.” That there is notion wrong with something not being as perfect as you thought you wanted it to be. I will say one thing though, I learned that social media is the best way for people to find out about you.
You are a person of great influence. If you could start a movement that would bring the most amount of good to the most amount of people, what would that be? You never know what your idea can trigger. 🙂
Education, education and more spiritual education. Right now, the amount of separation between people based on religious beliefs, political beliefs and diverse backgrounds is gigantic.
