Making your bed is a great way to start your day. 

It provides your body, mind and soul a good start.  It gives you a sense of being organized and allows you to subconsciously feel like you are in control of your day ahead somewhat. 

Knowing that you completed this simple task of making your bed will help you throughout the day.   It tells you that no matter what happens during the day, coming home to that bed at the end of the day says you conquered.  

Your sleep can also improve, although the research isn’t clear on this yet – but similar the saying ‘clear home, clear mind’ can refer to the bed also.  Any action that provides you inner peace is well worth it.

I always tell my clients the opposites of the negatives that they bring to the sessions, for example, “I would say in this case; what is the opposite of a messy bed?” and they would respond by saying “clean, organized, wonderful”.  And these visions of positive thoughts help our spirits to be at peace.  

Do things in the morning to start your day right

Your bed can be a great start to help your day.  It can allow you to be more productive, less tired and better focus on your day.  It looks better and feels better.  

So do that simple change today or start tomorrow morning.
