How to really be grateful

More than saying 'thank you'

Truly and deeply thankful

What does it mean to really be grateful? Can you describe the actual feeling? Is it unbelievable? Ever had an experience where you just wish for something to come true and then you wake up one day, actually getting it right before your eyes? And then the immediate feeling was thanking everyone that you know who contributed to it. It may be a simple gift from a friend, landing a good job, starting a business, starting a family or raising a kid. It may be a lot of those things. But the bottom line is, the feeling of getting what you want.

More than the feeling though, is the enerygy and the spirit plus vibe you emit whenever you are in that state. It is contagious, so go ahead and share it, share the vibes. Write it down on your diary. Write a letter for sombody. Be there for someone, set up a dinner or just simply call a firend. Whatever you way is, the most important thing is to be there for somebody and light up someone else’s life.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
