How to know which business coach is genuine

The business of being a business coach is getting really big, but how do you know that business coach is genuine and worth spending your savings on him/her?

Every business coach has their own views on how to teach people and how to do business so choose carefully the coach that aligns with your business vision.

Recently I saw a lot of entrepreneurs and business coaches advertise themselves on social media as having the secret of online business or how to immensely grow your business in just a few days…well…I have to ruin your beautiful dreams, but these magic formulas don’t exist.

I researched their social media profiles and guess what? The millions of clients they are talking about in the ads don’t exist. You can’t have 5 million clients and only 20k followers. If you have 20k real followers then you can have 100-1000 clients. They just say they have 5 million clients only in their ad, just to convince you to buy their service (course, webinar, coaching sessions, etc).

Another big red flag is that they didn’t enabled the review feature on Facebook so you can see genuine clients saying their opinion. Another bad sign is that they keep talking mysteriously how you can grow your business but they don’t tell you that they will “teach” you how to invest a fortune in ads and hope it will work. I see many people complaining they’ve invested hundreds of dollars in ads and they didn’t got 1 client.

Also in their ads they say they have a 10-year experience with online business or even 15 years of experience, but they started they social media accounts a year ago and they never say what they did in all these 10 years.

Another red flag is that they never respond to comments and they have only 3 comments and just 1 of them is a question. This behavior show very clearly that they don’t care about their aboudence and they just advertise themselves as business experts to make you pay them.

Don’t choose a business coach because you saw an ad, choose that business coach that you can connect with and share the same business vision and values. That business coach can have only 100 followers but answer to your question and give you helpful tips and valuable information for free. If that coach give you value for free for sure their paid services have value to offer too.
