All you need is to mix up specific naturally derived components together. These components include about four liters of vinegar, water, about 500ml lemon extract, as well as 250ml of witch hazel.

2.    Dish Soap in Water

This homemade remedy is best utilized at night since fleas are most active at that time of day. It entails the mixture of dish soap in a moderate quantity of warm water, after which the mixture is placed in a vantage location. 6.    The Use of Rosemary Plant Powder

The Rosemary plant is another plant whose components would definitely do well for home flea control. Although it may not be so much a viable option for severe infestation, it would do just fine for the home.

To use this remedy, grind Rosemary plant, with rue, peppermint, and fennel. Afterwards, sprinkle the resultant product on infested areas.

7.    Lemon Extracts as Spray

When using this option, merely boil cut lemon in water, and allow to sit for some time; probably, overnight. Once the juice is well dissolved, go on to spray furniture with same, but be careful not to drench them with the spray.

8.    Salt Dehydration of Fleas

Sprinkling salt around flea infestation areas kills or drives them away. This is because it dehydrates them- just like baking powder does.

After sprinkling salt on infested or prone areas, allow staying for one or two days, before carrying out a thorough vacuuming.

Other Simple Practices That Help Get Rid of Fleas

Other adoptable home flea control methods are available, but on the overall, all of these methods cannot be said to be totally effective. This is because they mainly affect the adult fleas, leaving the eggs and larvae to thrive till adult.

If you have fleas or bugs in your bed, don’t ignore it.
