How to find real happiness

3 ways you can live a happy and fulfilling life

What really is happiness? Can one find happiness? Different perspectives have been used to define happiness but it really is hard to have a consensus .This is because each person define their happiness in a different way. It is a subjective issue. It can however be described as a feeling of joy, fulfillment, serenity, combined with a sensation being valuable.

How can one really find happiness?

The power of the present moment

Forgive the past and move on. Resentment only hurt you more. The past is gone and allowing it to ruin your present is a choice you can only make.

Choose to live for today, for now with optimism, positive attitude expectancy and a big smile. Emotions, sadness, successes, smell and sights should be treasured each waking moment. Appreciate the bad as well as the good things in your life.

It is good to dream about your future but don’t let the vision replace the present moment .Don’t worry about tomorrow and don’t keep talking about what you accomplished yesterday. If you still talking about the past achievements you are not doing enough at the present.

Worrying about your disturbing past and fussing about the future make you miss the sense of now and lose the intention the balance to appreciate the present.

Stop comparing

Theodore Roosevelt once said ‘’Comparison is the thief of joy’’

There will always be a more successful, beautiful happier and more perfect person than you are. There is an endless list of categories from which you can compare yourself to other people. The goal of life should not be about measuring up to someone else but becoming the best version of you.

Comparing only makes you unhappy, inadequate and breeds jealous and inferior. It set you up for failure cause stress and anxiety.

When you look at other people’s accomplishment you only see their

achievements. You have no idea what they have gone through to get there. You start comparing your beginning to their successful end.

Don’t beat yourself for things you cannot change in your life.

You are unique and possess special weaknesses as well as strengths and you should allow yourself to flourish. You don’t lose value by have successful people around you.

Comparison shrouds the appreciation you should have for what you already have. Grass will always be greener on the other side.

Focus on redefining yourself and only chose to please you. This is the only way you can set attainable, smart realistic and attainable goals while feeling happy about your life.

Take risks

We all love our comfort zones, the known and familiar environment people and places. Vulnerability is uncomfortable and fear is detested but happiness comes to those who take risks.

Happiness may involve taking unconventional steps to unknown direction. Trusting you to prioritize issues and create real opportunities to dive into the unknown.

There are always issues and circumstances to contemplate but having the power of choice to take calculated risks are exhilarating and key to finding happiness.

Growing calls for challenging your mind-set to new ideas, thoughts and methodologies. Being truly happy means living in your own terms and functioning at your exact potential. Extreme restrain and avoiding risks make you remain stagnant and never truly live but just exists.

Challenges makes life more interesting and overcoming them more rewarding in the end.Dont fear disappointment and failure else you will spend all your life wondering what could have happened. Happiness is about taking calculated risks and getting through unscathed.

Failure makes you excel at finding out the way to success. Making mistakes and learning from them is the only sure way to grow and start living fully. Surprise yourself by doing things you never taught you can do.

Risks allow feeling of power, opening new opportunities and interests. It allows you to conquer your anxiety and fear, develops resilience and self-confidence. It stimulates change and emboldens you to break barriers you have fixed for yourself.

Listen and trust your heart

You are the most appropriate person to decide any course of action in your life. You have experienced it and know the best path to take. You have more knowledge than anyone else.

Your intuition brings together our mind, spirit and body and all the nerve cells in your body listening to your heart. This is where you should get all the answers for any questions and situations you face.

Thoughts and views of others are important but recognizing your voice and trusting it is the only road to happiness.

Listening to your inner voice makes you confident and happy even when others think you are not being rational. Taping to the power of intuition will make you avoid regrets and unveil the dreams and fantasy just before your eyes.

The road to happiness may be bumpy but happiness and fulfilment is within your reach when you understand what works for you.It can be frustrating to reach your happiness goals but with hard work, strong belief in yourself and forgiving yourself it is possible to achieve it
