How to Craft Your Ideal Day

When you sit down & think about your life, you want to lead. What does your ideal day entail? Where will you be? What would you be doing? How would your day plan out? Will you do the same thing every day or different things on different days? So maybe your ideal day looks nothing like how you live your life right now. Do you feel that your current day is working for you? Do you have a full-time job that you hate? Do you want to work in a completely different industry from the one that you work in now? Do you want to live by the sea and you currently live in a big city? Do you want to lead a healthier lifestyle? Do you want to learn a new hobby? Or even that you just want a complete overhaul of your current lifestyle. Start to craft out your ideal day will help you to live the life you want to lead.

How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives.
Annie Dillard

Start by thinking and then brainstorming this onto paper. What ideas come up? Now plan out what your ideal day will look like on paper. Do you know what bring you the most joy? Can you visualize your perfect day? What does it entail? Is your current lifestyle too far removed from your ideal day? Understand that if you have something burning inside of you that you want to do you need to stat to pursue this idea however small that you start. Also understanding what your ideal day will look like means, it can be easier to say no to things, people, places or commitments that no longer serve you.

The trick is to start with small steps. What could you do today that can go in the direction of your ideal life? You want to write a book. You can set yourself a target of writing a thousand words a day before work. You want to change your current job, maybe find people who work in the industry you desire and ask them questions about what it is like to work there. You want to live by the sea, book a holiday for few days and spend time getting to know the area. You want to learn to speak Spanish try out an evening class in your local area. You want to try a new hobby or interest. Why not find an event or group you could join this week and give it a go. Furthermore, it cost very little to have a healthy lifestyle and learn how to eat well, and sleep better & exercise.

Crafting out your ideal day means you can add small things into your current lifestyle that will add to your perfect day. Start to apply effort, and you can lead the life you want.
