Sometimes, life is just hard. It’s not easy at times and can be really stressful.

Sometimes you wake up not wanting to get out of bed.

Sometimes you dread going to bed because you’re afraid of what the next day holds.

Sometimes the dark tunnel never seems to stop, only to keep twisting and turning in the dark and deep abyss.

The good news is that you are not alone.

You have extraordinary talents that are laden inside you.

You have gifts that you can give that no one else can.

You are where you need to be in this very given moment, and no one can convince you otherwise.

There are ways to get out of slumps. That’s what they are. They are merely small moments of time and can often pass quickly with a little effort. This little effort is something that I like to call activity.

It’s a different dynamic when you switch your activity from every other negative feeling to something positive that can motivate you into becoming a better version of yourself.

When you’re feeling down, start moving. Get up and don’t think. Move yourself from one end of the room to the other. Then outside.

Then you will want to start looking for others to help. Now, this question might come up in your head,

“Well how can I help others be happy when I am feeling down?”

That’s the secret.

Forget about yourself and work. Put in the work and forget about why you are sad. You will understand this when your negative emotions and feelings start turning into positive affirmations that live inside you.

The way I like to look at it is this: With every positive moment you live in, you remove 10 negative emotions.

Try it. Go through your day and start watching your thoughts. You will be amazed at how quickly your perspective can change once you start to realize your thoughts and inner emotions.

Know this, that you are important to me.

Even if the world seems to be falling on top of you. Even if you think there is no turning back.

Even if you think that you’re at your last breath. I am still here, letting you know how amazing you are.

Concluding thoughts:

Service is your answer. Forget about yourself and get to work helping others. When you are at your lowest, serving others will bring you back up.

Become your best self by helping others.
