Thrive Global’s mission is to end the global epidemic of stress and burnout, and one of the most important things we can do is to keep pushing for innovation within the fitness, tech, and wellness space.

That’s why Thrive Global is excited to partner with Hubert Burda Media for the inaugural FitTech Summit, Europe’s first conference devoted to fitness innovation, health, and lifestyle. The event, which will take place in Munich, Germany on July 10, 2018, brings together some of the most promising start-ups, investors, and corporations together to set the agenda for the emerging industry. Discussions will explore the latest trends in health and well-being, such as why sleep is the next health currency, and whether data-tracking will become ubiquitous. Mental health will also be a big topic: How can breathing help us to enhance our daily performance? Who are the next biggest disruptors in the meditation apps space?

The “Passivity is the New Activity” keynote takes a look at how measuring sleep and regeneration can be markers for a sustainable performance. Another, “Mind Your Head,”  explores how mental strength influences your performance. We’ll be introducing brain training games, breathing techniques, and apps that are changing what it means to be mentally fit. Conference speakers will include Ben McAllister (Director of Product at MapMyRun), Lisa Kleinsorge (VP of International at Headspace), Julia Belaya (Head of Health Innovation at Plug and Play Tech Center), and many more.

We’ll also be introducing 30 hand-picked start-ups from all over Europe to showcase their products. The winner will receive one million euros in media from ProSieben Sat1, Germany’s largest privately-held TV network, a signed copy of Arianna Huffington’s Thrive: The Third Metric to Redefining Success and Creating a Life of Well-Being, Wisdom, and Wonder, as well as Thrive’s six-lesson e-course.

Thrive Global will be covering key panels throughout the summit (but you can take a peek at the full agenda here, or livestream the event here). We’re also delighted to offer our readers 20 percent off tickets — register here and use the promo code FitTech-ThriveGlobal-20off.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
