What set you on your startup journey?

In my mid 20’s, I started a simple auto detailing business called “WaxMaster,” which became a test tube of sorts for my home service businesses. Since then, I’ve gone on to start over 20 companies.

What was the biggest rejection you faced and how did you overcome it?

Right after having a newborn, I was fired from my dream job with no warning. It was incredibly jarring to suddenly be without work. I realized I was way too dependent on other people to make sure I could pay my bills. From that day, I resolved to never rely solely on anyone else for my income and security.

Do you have any advice for others looking to do what you’ve done?

Set big goals and take action on them every single day. Consistency is the key to getting what you want.
