We all know Instagram, a place to digitally express yourself, but what you may not know is that you can use the platform to create a profitable business. In 2021 Instagram reached over one billion active users, making it the most used social media platform in the world. With so many active monthly users, it is inevitable for people to capitalize and make a source of income out of it. All across the globe, thousands of users create accounts based on a theme, which is commonly referred to as a “theme page.” These theme pages can be based on almost anything. Users gain a mass amount of followers and in effect, the account/brand can become an asset. Yes, a social media account can be an asset! As These accounts generate thousands of dollars through paid promotions and other monetization strategies, it is clear that these social media accounts are more than that, they are businesses.

One example is the teenage entrepreneur named Jack. He runs many accounts, one of which is @millionsmap which is coming close to hitting 30,000 followers. When speaking to Thrive Global in an online interview he says, “I can do what I love from wherever I want… this business gives me and my clients freedom.” So how can YOU do this?
