As a minority, there’s so much you need to do to take your place in the industry. And it’s no longer about just taking it, but cementing yourself in that position and, at the same time, finding ways to lift each other while doing so.

Brandon Medford is a living proof that passion and grit can take you to places. Places he only dreamed of when he was young, and he did it with his friends, Dave Obaseki and Eric Whitehead. Together they’re changing the way the black community is being represented. They’re making a statement that wherever you come from, you too can become successful.

Brandon’s journey to becoming an entrepreneur and top auto broker has never been easy. He dedicated most of his early years working. At only 16 years old, Brandon started working at Wendy’s. When asked about his struggles at that time, Brandon said, “Not having the privilege of enjoying those years was worth it today. It was then that I realized I was meant for something greater.” What once held him back became the fuel for his future.

A few years after that, he was reminded of what he was meant to do. When he went to a car service at Infiniti, he had an encounter with a Sales Manager that will change his life. The Sales Manager convinced Brandon that there are a whole lot of business opportunities he can explore in car sales. At that moment, he knew this is where his path is leading him.

Later on, he met his first Sales Mentor, who taught him how to sell at least 25 cars a month. This mentorship taught him a lot that he needed. Because of his hard work and dedication, he quickly became one of the top sales professionals in the country. This opened up opportunities and promotions for him that he never expected.

In 2017, Brandon was working for a position he thought was for him. Until he realized it wasn’t. Brandon felt stuck and didn’t know what to do. So he decided to call his friends, Dave and Eric, to hangout. What was supposedly a friendly chat turned to a meetup that would change their life forever.
