How A Plant-Based Diet Allowed Martez House To Lose 115 Pounds And Build A Massive Brand

Martez House is one of the only health and fitness experts who has committed himself to a 100% plant-based diet while also achieving incredible results from doing so. His success story of losing over 115 pounds in a year and a half and sculpting one of the most shredded physiques most have ever seen has created a lot of buzz and curiosity in the industry, which recently lead to the creation of his company, Official Wealth Brand. 

I sat down with him to get the inside scoop and see if he was truly the real deal.

So tell me, what separates you from every fitness guru online who claims to be able to help others get in the best shape of their lives?

“First off, all of us at Wealth are only eating plants. We almost do the exact opposite of what the fitness and health industry tries to sell everyone, and following our process is all about learning how to listen to our bodies. I am a walking testimony of what’s possible when you create a belief system that works for you, and I’ve shown thousands how to follow the same exact path that I took. From celebrities and NFL athletes to the ordinary person, I’ve been able to take people from states of depression, severe injury, and underachievement to peak performance and ultimate mental strength. I simply started documenting my journey in the most authentic way I knew possible which allowed it to just blow up quite quickly.”

“I believe the greatest strength lies in your happiness, and I’ve found a way to not only channel my drive from my happiness, but also show others how to do the same.”

How did all of this begin? What led to you pursuing the path you are currently on?

“A career-ending injury while playing collegiate football led to me feeling not only lost in life but also in complete physical discomfort. I was unable to walk for about a year and a half after 3 foot surgeries due to a lis franc ligament tear.  I currently have a plate and six screws in my foot. The doctors told me I would never be able to run again. This led me to begin my research on natural ways to recover and reduce inflammation in real time. At the time of my injury, I weighed 297 lbs. After my 3rd surgery and a pain level ranging from 8 to 10 consistently, I made the commitment to try a complete plant based diet, and to my surprise, I had catastrophic results of loosing 37 lbs after just the first month. I noticed my pain levels were reduced by 50 % after only one month. That’s when I knew that plant based was the secret to optimal health and sustainability. I currently weigh 182 lbs and a body fat percentage of 8 %. I run 4.5 miles 7 days a week in the sand to start my day. To top it off, I’m currently 100% pain-free. My body recovers on a 12 to 24 hour cycle consistently. How could I not share this with others?”

What’s the intention behind everything you are doing? Is there a bigger picture to the crazy social media content?

“I’m here for more than just showing others how to look good naked; I’m here to change a minimum of a billion lives. I’m here to create a higher learning for the masses mentally and physically, and this process begins on your plate. The greatest wealth one can achieve is their health, for you can feel like you have everything in the world, but if you lack your optimal health, you have nothing. I’m here to create a true movement that raises the standards of the what people allow themselves to adopt into their lives both mentally and physically. Stop eating what your parents ate – there is new research developed  daily that proves a strong majority of nutritional teachings were simply inaccurate.  I use my platform to educate those willing to hear the truth on how to remove inflammation in our bodies along with curating optimal colon health (which I’ve discovered is the single most important thing one can do for their body).”
