That is why it is always good to keep some things in mind; Remember these tips or tips for traveling with pets , they will surely help you when organizing it!

1. Bring a medical certificate of your pet that indicates he is in good health

-Must be issued by a veterinarian. The pet must have their vaccinations up to date and they must have done a complete review to see that they are able to travel.

2. Make hotel reservations (that allow pets) in advance or be clear about where we are going to stay

-There are many hotels that accept pets , we can inform and book, suitable dog beds yes, do not leave it for the last moment. There are also rural houses that accept animals. If we have acquaintances or relatives at the destination, let them know that we will arrive with our pet.

3. Prepare, apart from our luggage or suitcase, a backpack for our pet

-In luggage for your pet will need to have: plastic bowls  to ater, food for the journey, belt or harness, your medical certificate, passport pet (if necessary), wipes pet  or cloths, their blanket or folded bed, and other things we believe necessary (brush, sandpit, shampoo, toys …

4.  Take our pet to the hairdresser, if necessary

-Many dogs may need a good haircut and a bath , especially those with dense and thick fur. It will make them feel more comfortable and they will be clean and perfect to undertake the trip.

5.  Avoid eating approximately 2 hours before leaving on a trip

– That fasting is better for them, As much as possible, avoid having food before leaving. We can give them food later when we stop and give them time to digestion.

6.  Conditioning the car for the pet (if we are going to use this transport)

-If you are going to go behind, it is a good idea to cover the rear seats with a blanket or cloth to protect it and make our pet more comfortable. When it’s hot, use a cotton one better. If necessary, place a mesh that divides the front of the back of the car, uses a carrier or Dog carrier cargo for car. Open a window a little so that air enters during the trip.

7.  Take them out for a walk and play with them before going on a trip

-Not only for dogs to make their needs , but for them to be more relaxed at the time of the trip as well. If he is a cat, play with him a while before so he can take the trip more calm and more tired (so he can even sleep).

Remember:

We must make stops from time to time , especially if the trip is long, so that they can do their needs and rest (if we go by car)

If your pet is very nervous, ask the veterinarian for a few drops of Valerian for pets, or something natural that can relax them during the journey.

Do not put the music at full volume if we go by car (especially if we go with a cat) as it can stress you a lot.

Do not leave our pets alone in the car and leave. Less without opening windows and less in summer. It can have terrible consequences.

Any questions or concerns with your pet, do not hesitate to consult or see the veterinarian as soon as possible.
