In the 21st century, many people are opting for online ways to make money. Trading, whether it’s stocks or forex, has become a very popular profession. I recently had a chance to interview Hamaad Khan, a 20-year-old entrepreneur and binary options trader who has been dominating the trading industry.

Hamaad Khan is the founder and CEO of Trendy Trader, which is a trading company that partners with clients to take their trading to a professional level. He has been trading for the past 5 years, starting at the age of 15. It is phenomenal to see youngsters moving forward towards their goals from such a young age. With his trading company he has successfully established a mentorship program where he teaches students from around the globe. He had a lot of great insights to share about trading that would be helpful for anyone interested in this field. Here are some bits from our discussion

So Hamaad, what’s your story? How did you get to this point in your career?

Frankly speaking, it hasn’t been an easy journey. Since childhood I was keen to earn money from the comfort zone of my bed. When I was 12 years old I had earned my first $7 on internet, and that day something clicked in my mind and made me enthusiastic to do more. But to be honest, I wasn’t a hard working kid who wanted to score good grades in earlier high school. The real revolution came in, when i scored bad grades in my O level’s result. I was not disheartened because I remembered a famous saying of Albert Einstein, “Tomorrow is my exam. But i don’t care cause a single sheet of paper can’t decide my future”. For some students bad grades are heart wrecking, but to me it was a motivation to consider my failure, and work hard to become successful. So once I was browsing the internet, and suddenly a Google Ad popped up, the title was “ A 22 year old making 6 Figure Income from the comfort of his bed”. The eye catching title made me enthusiastic to read the whole article, and I found out he was a stock trader. With keen and eagerness I started browsing the internet about trading industry and then my journey had started. I wanted to quit the rat race of 9-5 job and establish my own successful company, where I could work from my bed and earn more then job employees.

Who has been your greatest inspiration? And why?

My inspiration has been Warren Buffet, because at the age of 11 he purchased his first stock which is quite astonishing. One of his quotations which I have implemented in my practical life “If you don’t find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die”. This quotation had a very deep impact in my life, it completely transformed my thinking. When I read his biography and his struggle to become a successful businessmen it inspired so much that I decided to buy and sell stocks as well in the form of virtual trading. That is the reason I decided to quit the rat-race of 9-5 job which had no future. I wanted to build a system, where i could sleep and money could work for me.

How do you define success?

Success can never be defined, because from individual aspect it differs. For some people success is when they get admitted to a renowned university. But for people like me, success is when they establish a company. Success has a lot of different meanings, because every human brain has different goals and different dreams. For some people my goals will not seem realistic and vice versa. We can not impose our views on someone, but yeah, as a matter of fact, reality and truth can’t be denied which is “Money does matter”. Whatever dream we pursue, our end goal is to make money.

What are your final words for readers?

The biggest thing we are missing in our lives is belief in ourselves and our abilities to make our dreams become a reality. If you want to make a change in your life it is possible – but it all begins with a belief. I want to encourage more people to believe in themselves. From there you create a plan and take action. We tend to over-complicate things way too often, but creating massive change in your life really is that simple. Believe. Plan. Take action.
