NCAA basketball, specifically the BIG 12. I am excited!
Having gone cold turkey on all but the most benign of the many gut wrenching sports I used to follow, college hoops is now more than enough.
No more Giants, Jets or Chiefs. NO KNICKS! No Yankees, Sox or Royals…my heart couldn’t take it and it was a huge waste of time and energy.
What is left is Kansas Jayhawks basketball and March Madness. The one team and the one time of year I can share a sports passion with my partner. As she and her family attended KU she is a willing participant. The fact that the other side of my family all went to MU is “irrelevant”.
After tonight (KU at West Virginia) much will be revealed.
