Gary Vee and Me!

Playing to Your Strengths…

I learned along time ago to pay extremely close attention to those whose results match their messaging! Whether you are a Gary Vaynerchuk fan or not… there is no denying this mans brilliance! I believe his magic to be attributed to the fact that he openly states, that he only ever focuses on his strengths, and never his weaknesses. He clearly has a pulse on what his inherent strengths, and skill-sets are and executes on only that; one hundred percent of the time. Gary understands only too well the scarcity and sacredness of time, particularly in the world of entrepreneurship. Gary thinks fast, talks fast, executes fast. His mind is beautiful. His energy is boundless and endless. He is legendary when it comes to projecting into the future and knowing how to capitalize and maximize upon everything by consistently staying ahead of the curve. Gary has honed and mastered the ability to scale and leverage every aspect of his businesses, his brand, and his consistent messaging by only ever playing to his STRENGTHS!

I have never been one to try and mimic or emulate others no matter how much I value, respect and admire them as human beings or fellow entrepreneurs. However, my receptor mode is consistently open and alert to taking serious mental notes (as well as volumes of written ones, too) on what to latch onto, sponge up, retain and incorporate into my own business mindset and business model. Like Gary, I too, only choose to play to my strengths when it comes to business practices, decision-making, and overall daily execution. Like Gary, I too have a plethora of creative ideas always swirling at the forefront of my mind. If only it were physically and humanly possible to strategically execute in reality, all of which runs through my brain on a constant minute by minute basis. Fortunately, I do not give myself permission to focus on thoughts like that for too long, and certainly never to the point of impeding my already high energy momentum and consistent output; resulting in tangible results for which I am pleased with yet never to the point of becoming complacent or any less driven.

I owe a huge shout out of gratitude to Gary for his clear and consistent messaging, and for his always being the breathing, walking, talking example as it pertains specifically to playing to ones strengths and never to their weaknesses. This has both enhanced and enriched my own levels of success, focus, clarity, results within my own businesses and has catapulted me into becoming a more solid business woman in the global arena of fellow CEO’s and entrepreneurs. If you want to be the best at what you do – you have to take note of those who are recognized and acknowledged for being the best at what they do, and be committed to learn and to grow from them. I have learnt much from you, Gary! I have grown leaps and bounds in my own overall development, and not only as a careerist but more importantly – as a human-being first and foremost. A human being who is eternally committed to being an avid student of life. Thank you for growing me, Gary! Thank you for being exactly as you are! I for one, appreciate you immensely!

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
